DESCRIPTION:Join us tonight from 5-7pm for the First Tuesday Art Walk and our opening reception for artists Bradford Butler and Marie Van Elder.\nBradford Butler\, Artist’s Statement\nThe regurgitation of information implodes and explodes. There is a containment of silence within an atmosphere of activity\, emotion\, and instability. My marks represent disordered life\, chaos becoming structure\, structure then failing\, to be rebuilt. Inherently inconsistent\, the paintings and sculptures can be made only through an intuitive\, arbitrary process.  My art explores the unstable mind\, reasoning for moments of understanding. This art confronts the encounters of information accumulated everyday. The body of work rests\, never\, an interminable quest for more questions.  “I can’t go on.
