DESCRIPTION:DJANGOFEST MILL VALLEY\nGuitar Workshop with Max O’Rourke \nGuitarist\, composer\, and arranger\, Max O’Rourke (John Jorgenson Quintet\, Gonzalo Bergara Quartet\, Rhythm Future Quartet\, Hot Club of New England) was the winner of the 2015 Saga Award from DjangoFest Northwest for outstanding young musicianship in the genre of gypsy jazz. At just 19 years of age\, Max has already toured/recorded with many of the top American Gypsy Jazz musicians. While a student at Berklee College of Music\, Max performed in 35 states and 8 countries with the John Jorgenson Quintet\, the Daisy Castro Quartet\, and the Rhythm Future Quartet. \nIn addition to performing and composing\, Max is also an incredible teacher. He has taught rhythm guitar at Django in June\, DjangoFest NW\, Django by the Sea\, Frank Vignola’s camp at Crested Butte\, and Fiddle Hell.
