DESCRIPTION:Khusugtun is an internationally recognized band that performs traditional music from Mongolia. Inspired by their nomadic ancestry and historic civilization\, Khusugtun travels the world promoting the folk arts of Mongolian culture. They are especially renowned for their a capella arrangements using “khöömei” or “throat-singing\,” which is an UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity from Mongolia. \nKhusugtun formed in 2008 and quickly became one of the most respected music groups in Mongolia. They have won numerous awards both nationally and internationally and have performed in some of the world’s most esteemed venues and festivals. Khusugtun was runner-up of the Asia’s Got Talent 2015 show.
