Allegro moderato \n  \nAmy Zanrosso\, a powerful and dynamic musician\, has worked within a wide range of musical genres – classical\, contemporary\, musical theatre\, German cabaret and tango. Much indemand as a collaborator\, and a chamber musician at heart\, Amy has shared the stage with acclaimed soloists and principal members of numerous symphony orchestras. She hasappeared as a soloist with the Symphony of the Kootenays and the Russian Chamber Orchestra and has worked with Gustavo Dudamel for chorus rehearsals of Beethoven’s  9thSymphony. In 2016 Amy went on tour to China with the GRAMMY award winning Pacific Boychoir and was also the pianist for Chorissima – the five-time GRAMMY award winningSan Francisco Girl’s Chorus Premier Ensemble throughout the 2017-18 season.  Amy is currently based in Oakland\, California\, and is a faculty member at the Pre-College of the San Francisco Conservatory of Music coaching chamber music and piano ensembles.She is steadily realizing her plan of learning and performing all existing piano chamber music and when not practicing Beethoven or Brahms\, Amy can be found hanging out with herhusband and dog or riding her bike to rehearsals. For more information please visit www.amyzanrosso.com. \nCellist\, Victoria Ehrlich\, was born in Texas and received her musical education at Southern Methodist University in Dallas\, the Academy of Santa Cecilia in Rome\, Italy\, and the State University of New York at Stony Brook. She also attended summer programs at Interlochen\, Aspen\, and Tanglewood. Her teachers include Robert Marsh\, Bernard Greenhouse\, and Robert Gardner. \nBefore joining the San Francisco Opera Orchestra in 1984\, she performed with Santa Fe Opera\, Santa Fe Chamber Music Festival\, and served as Principal Cellist with the symphonies of Omaha\, Richmond\, VA\, and Phoenix. Ms. Ehrlich has performed with San Francisco Ballet\, San Francisco Symphony\, California and Berkeley Symphonies\, Lamplighters\, and the Russian Chamber Orchestra. She’s also an active chamber musician\, appearing regularly with the percussion group Adesso\, the Gold Coast Chamber Players\, Picasso Ensemble\, the Fath Chamber Players and the Ariel String Quartet.  Recent work includes collaboration with poets and composers under the auspices of the American Composers’ Forum. \nA native of Nagoya\, Japan\, violinist Beni Shinohara studied at the Tokyo National University of Fine Arts and Music\, where she earned a Master of Music degree. She also studied extensively in Europe with Sandor Vegh before coming to the United States. Beni has been the Assistant Principal Second violin for the San Francisco Opera Orchestra since 1988 and Assistant Concertmaster in the San Francisco Ballet Orchestra since 1990. She has appeared as a soloist with the Tokyo Metropolitan Symphony and the Nagoya Philharmonic Orchestra\, the Houston Ballet Orchestra\, and the Cabrillo Music Festival Orchestra. Over the years\, she has premiered numerous twentieth-century Japanese composers’ works\, participating in the “Music Today” Concert Series under the direction of Toru Takemitsu. She also performs with many with Bay Area chamber ensembles such as the Marin Chamber Players\, Gold Coast Chamber Players\, and the Edgewood Trio.  Beni presently serves on the Throckmorton’s Board of Directors and is the Throckmorton Theatre’s Noon Concert Coordinator. She currently lives in Mill Valley with her husband Katsuto and their Flat-Coated Retriever\, Myla. \n  \nNOON CONCERT SERIES INFORMATION \nFor the past 6 years we have offered complimentary classical concerts every Wednesday featuring renowned musicians from around the world. Thank you so much to all who joined us and performed for us over these past seasons. You have helped make this concert series a special place where community and friends can gather for the love of live music and discover something new and beautiful each and every week. \nThrockmorton Theatre is determined to offer the inspiration of live music to every community member\, regardless of financial ability. Thus we offer these concerts free of charge to the public\, however we pay all performers and incur costs to produce these events. We are incredibly grateful for any and all donations from those who have the means and we also welcome sponsorships of any level. \nConcerts are approximately an hour long and most performances take place in the Tivoli room\, where both the audience and musicians can sit in close proximity\, creating an intimate concert setting.  Please take a look at our calendar of these special events and join us! \n
