SUMMARY:Throckapella Concert
DESCRIPTION:Come and enjoy a beautiful end-of-season concert performed by our teen a cappella group Throckappella\, directed by Sue Bohlin.  This ensemble is an advanced group of singers in 9th-12th grade. The program includes vocal music from  a variety of genres\, including world folk\, broadway\, contemporary choral\, and pop/rock.  A reception will follow the concert. \n2014/15 Members \nEstella Bastian \nEllie Bloom \nDeeDee Brown \nMohini Bryant-Ekstrand \nRyan Clahan \nColin Dreschsel \nDimitri Fulconis \nMakena House \nAlexandra Korngut \nLila McNeil \nPrice Ohmer \nJoshua Pilcher \nJacob Siderman \nMeet our Throckappella Director: Sue Bohlin \nSusan Elisabeth Bohlin enjoys a full musical career as director\, conductor\, composer\, accompanist\, vocal coach\, theory instructor\, and freelance symphony keyboardist. Her most recent commission “I Made It (You Can Fly)” for the Vivace Youth Choir was premiered in San Jose last May. Four of her choral works are published at Alliance Music (TX) and Santa Barbara Music Publishing (CA).  \nAlong with her husband\, Robert Geary\, Sue is a recipient of a Founder’s Award from the Piedmont East Bay Children’s Choir\, where she is Associate Director of the Performing Dept. and with whom she has toured to over twenty countries since 1985. She also currently works on staff at Campolindo High School in Moraga and free-lances with numerous other Bay Area arts organizations. \n  \n
