DESCRIPTION:Described by the Los Angeles Times as a cross between Joan Rivers\, Don Rickles and Marcel Marceau\, Toni Attell\, aka Toad the Mime\, brings us her newest one-woman show\, “A Mime is a Terrible Thing to Waste – Especially When She Speaks!” Buckle your seat belts for an unconventionally spectacular evening of mime\, comedy\, storytelling\, improvisation and more! \n  \nABOUT TONI ATTELL\nAntoinette “Toni” Attell is an accomplished performer who has enjoyed success in a variety of performing mediums for almost four decades. She is an Emmy-nominated actress\, but her stage\, television and movie credits tell only part of the story of a remarkable and versatile woman who has also become a renowned acting coach and motivational speaker. \nToni began her acting career in San Francisco\, performing with the American Conservatory Theater. She became well known in many performing circles as Toad the Mime. Toni went on to tour more than 350 colleges in the United States as a mime-comedienne\, teaching master classes in movement and acting while being named the best solo act on the college circuit. \nAttell’s newest one-woman show\nThe Emmy nominated Attell received US Magazine’s Best Comic Award and toured as the opening act for Robin Williams\, Steve Martin and Jay Leno among others. She has created and performed over five one-woman shows and she also started L.A.’s notoriously famed Comedy Store Players. \nThroughout her career\, Toni has studied and worked internationally with some of the greatest masters of mime\, improvisation\, comedy and acting. Her years of study helped ignite a passion in her for teaching others the craft of acting and performance arts. Toni became an adjunct professor at the USC School of Cinema and taught acting classes at Chapman University for four years. Presently\, Toni is teaching classes/workshops for UCLA Extension.  In addition to lecturing\, acting and performing\, Toni is an author and writes a column for The Tolucan Times and La Brea Living Magazine called “The Chatterbox-The Biz.”  \n
