DESCRIPTION:\nJoin us every Tuesday for an unforgettable belly-splitting evening of comedy! Each week we showcase 5-7 different comedians at the top of their game. Tuesday Night Live Comedy features fresh talent on the rise\, alongside veteran comics from around the world. Our theatre-style stage combined with an intimate comedy club atmosphere provides a truly unique and memorable experience. Laughter is the best medicine and we guarantee you will be laughing and smiling all week! Come see what the fun is all about! \nDr. Gonzo \nDr. Gonzo (John Means) commandeers his audience with a combination of stand-up comedy and classic rock parodies. His most successful collaboration was with famed 80s rock group\, Huey Lewis and the News. When he wasn’t touring with top music acts\, he headlined major comedy clubs across America. He’s appeared on numerous TV and radio shows including Showtime\, Comedy Central\, MTV\, Bob & Tom and many more! \nChad Opitz \nBased out of Santa Cruz\, CA.\, Chad Opitz is a comic who unique takes on sometimes odd subject matters are making him an oft booked staple at Bay Area clubs and showcases. Chad was the winner of Bay Area legend Jimmy Gunn’s “Best Newcomer” award as well as a finalist in the Rooster T. Feathers New Talent Competition and 1st place winner of the Walk the Plank comedy competition\, beating out 100 comics for the top prize. Veering between one-liners and short story jokes\, Opitz’ writing is as well-regarded as his character and performance work. \n  \nGeoff Bolt (host) \nGeoff Bolt is a comedian\, writer and actor. A Bay Area original\, Geoff is renowned as an inspired improviser in the world of sketch comedy. Geoff got his start in the comedy world as a founding member of the critically acclaimed National Theatre of the Deranged\, and soon after debuted his stand-up comedy to rave reviews at San Francisco’s Other Cafe. He continues to perform regularly to dedicated fans at a wide variety of comedy clubs. He has appeared in many feature films was featured in HBO’s Young Comedian’s Special\, Showtime’s Comedy Channel\, A&E’s Evening at the Improv\, and KQED’s Comedy Tonight. Geoff has appeared in several plays at the SF Fringe Festival and has done hundreds of voice- overs for radio\, television\, and video games. He appears regularly on NPR’s West Coast Live as half of the comedy team of Karl and Carl\, who offer their unconventional “Tips on Travel”. \n  \nMichael O’Brien (host) \nMichael O’Brien is an original member of the National Theatre of the Deranged\, co-creator of “’Tips on Travel’ with Karl & Carl” and a master improviser whose credits include performances at The Moth\, Porchlight SF\, Marsh Theatre\, Holy City Zoo and Throckmorton Theatre. Michael is also a teaching artist: Improv Open Workshop at Fort Mason Center\, Voice One SF\, Academy of Art University\, San Francisco State University (guest instructor) and Stanford University (guest instructor). \n \n  \nAnthony K      I’m proud to have filmed my one-hour DVD at the Gallo Center for the Arts in downtown Modesto titled “Thank You for Listening to Nothing.” The DVD is featured on Pandora\, Spotify and Google Play. I’m the 2011 Modesto Area Music Association Award winner for Best Comedian. I was a top five finalist in the Big Sky Comedy Festival in Montana\, which is one of the largest comedy festivals in the U.S. I am a regular at Laughs Unlimited in Sacramento\, Tommy T’s clubs in Pleasanton and Rancho Cordova and the Punch Line comedy clubs in San Francisco and Sacramento. I recently won the ModestoView Clean Comedy Competition. \n  \nPippi Lovestocking \n\nPippi Lovestocking\, drag queen comic extraordinaire\, has insulted audiences from down under to over there with international performances in England\, Ireland and Japan. Pippi’s television appearances include HBO’s Looking and Jerry Springer. \n
