DESCRIPTION:\nTuesday Night Live Comedy! is recognized as one of Bay Area’s best stand-up comedy showcases. Each week 5-8 different comics take to the mic for a hilarious evening of live stand up. Line-ups always feature a mix of fresh talent on the rise and veteran comedians from around the world. Come see what the fun is all about! \nMeet the Comedians\nEDDIE BRILL\nEddie Brill has taped more than 100 TV shows in six different countries…including ten appearances on The Late Show.  His many acting roles include the FX hit series\, “Louie”\, and the film “30 Years to Life” with Tracy Morgan.  He is a 3-time MAC (Manhattan Association of Cabarets & Clubs) Award Winner for Outstanding Male Stand-up Comic in NYC.  In 2008\, he received the first ever Lifetime Achievement Award by the ECNY. (The Emerging Comics of NY).   Eddie was also honored with an Alumni Award of Distinction from Emerson College.  For seventeen years Eddie worked as the audience warm-up on The Late Show with David Letterman. For eleven of those years he was the Stand Up Comedy Talent Coordinator.  He is currently the creative director of the “Great American Comedy Festival” which honors Johnny Carson. \nSTEVE MITTLEMAN \nSteve Mittleman is a comedian extraordinaire. His talent has earned him an enviable reputation on the Los Angeles corporate comedy circuit. Steve is a regular guest on “Late Night” and “The Tonight Show.” He headlines at all major comedy clubs and was featured in “Roxanne” with Steve Martin and Woody Allen’s “Radio Days.” You will remember Steve Mittleman as the guy “with no chin” and great comedic timing. His comedy routines are hilarious and “squeaky” clean and his improvisational skills are excellent. \nBOB ZANY\nBob Zany has appeared on over a thousand national T.V. shows\, from The Tonight Show to a seventeen-year stint appearing on and co-hosting The Jerry Lewis Telethon. Currently\, he can be seen on Showtime in Billy Gardell’s “Road Dogs.” His numerous film credits include Joe Dirt with David Spade\, Stephen Soderberg’s The Informant playing Matt Damon’s attorney. Currently starring with Eric Roberts in 23 Minutes to Sunrise. He also has a documentary about his 35-plus year career\, Close But No Cigar. Having performed in all 50 states & D.C.\, plus 7 countries from England to Israel\, and headlining shows from Las Vegas to Atlantic City\, Zany brings years of experience and he brings the FUNNY. No stranger to radio\, he has appeared on the Bob & Tom Show with his Zany Report\, plus numerous other radio stations across the country. \nJOHNNY TAYLOR\, JR.\nSacramento’s Johnny Taylor uses sharp wit\, and off-beat sensibilities to communicate his sometimes tragic life experiences in a hilarious way. When he was just two years into his standup career\, his first album “Tangled Up In Plaid” debuted in the iTunes Top 10 comedy releases. Johnny has opened for some of the biggest names in stand-up comedy\, including Robin Williams\, Bobcat Goldthwait\, Brian Posehn\, Wayne Federman\, and more. Johnny is a regular at every major comedy club in Northern California\, including the San Francisco Punch Line\, Sacramento Punch Line and Cobbs Comedy Club\, 142 Throckmorton Theatre\, and was recently featured on Comedytime.TV. \nMARK MAIER\nTalented award-winning writer and stand-up\, Mark Maier is an established and highly sought after performer on the national and international comedy circuits. He has worked the comedy clubs of Germany\, Holland\, Ireland\, Hong Kong\, The Bahamas\, South Africa\, Australia and New Zealand and has also appeared at The Comedy Store in Los Angeles and Caroline’s in New York. Amongst his many credits\, Mark has taught and performed improvisation with Catherine Tate in London and has had a string of successful radio series\, in which he was both writer and performer. \nALLISON HOOKER\nAllison Hooker is a San Francisco based comedian and writer who regularly performs in SF’s underground scene\, as well as prominent clubs including Cobb’s\, PianoFight\, Kell’s and Doc’s Lab. \nLARRY “BUBBLES” BROWN  (Host)\nLarry “Bubbles” is a San Francisco based comedian and a favorite of the Throckmorton. Larry tried stand up comedy in 1981 at the Holy City Zoo in SF and has stayed with it ever since. He has appeared on over 25 tv shows\, including numerous appearances on David Letterman. He was also in the movie “The Kiterunner.” Larry is a frequent opening act for Dana Carvey and Dave Attell. \n\n
