SUMMARY:Noon Concert  with Jack Cimo and Robert Mcmanmon
DESCRIPTION:Jack Cimo is known for his powerful presence\, beautiful tone\, and exciting interpretations. Having played the guitar most of his life\, he considers it a part of him. Mr. Cimo has delighted audiences in Las Vegas\, Chicago\, Los Angeles\, Houston\, New Orleans\, and Ireland to name a few.  He recently placed third in the 2017 Sierra Nevada Competition\, and was the recipient of USC’s Presser Award in 2011. In 2009\, he won second prize in the California ASTA competition\, and in 2003 he received first prize in the Harper College competition. He has worked with renowned musicians such as Steve Suvada\, William Kanengiser\, and Pepe Romero.\nWith a degree from University of Southern California\, Jack is now actively performing and working on new music. A solo recording is coming soon which will include Bach’s 6th Cello Suite and the Walton Bagatelles. He was recently named competition director of the 2018 Sierra Nevada Guitar Competition in Reno\, NV and Lake Tahoe\, CA. He is also focusing on creating high quality music videos\, which can be viewed on his Youtube channel! Besides guitar\, his interests include snowboarding\, hiking\, and dark chocolate. \nBorn and raised in Syracuse\, NY\, Rob McManmon first began with music and classical guitar in high school. Rob quickly fell in love with the guitar and could be found at all times of the day playing and practicing in everything from study halls to bus rides home. He went on to pursuit this passion in and receive a bachelors in performance and education degree from the Eastman School of Music\, a wonderful world of musical adventures and friendships.  Upon graduation Rob  spent a year teaching music at the Gunma Kokusai Academy IB School just outside Tokyo\, Japan. Following he spent a month backpacking through China and three months living in the Italian Alps which gave inspiration and rise to ConfidentChords.com a hub for students around the world of all ages to study music and connect. From Tokyo to Rome\, San Francisco to Austin\, New York to London\, Rob’s students log in for the immersive Music Learning Theory instruction where he shares his passion and understanding for the inner workings of what makes music tick. \nIn his free time Rob enjoys riding and racing his bike regularly around the Bay Area where he now lives\, studying the Japanese and Italian languages\, and going on hikes\, backpacking\, and bike-packing adventures around California and the world with his girlfriend Michelle. In the fall Rob resides in Ota-shi\, Japan where he continues to teach as well as leads bike tours in the beautiful mountains and hot spring towns of Japan at BikeTourJapan.com. \nWEDNESDAY NOON CONCERTS\nThe community is invited to our complimentary Wednesday Noon Concert series. As part of our ongoing mission to use the transformative power of the arts to inspire and enrich our community\, we have opened our doors for the past two years\, every Wednesday at Noon\, and presented concerts performed by talented musicians that are free of charge to the public. These free noon performances offer listeners the opportunity to discover the beauty of music in an intimate accessible setting\, while providing the community with cultural enrichment and exposure to talented performers. \nConcerts are in a one-hour format and performances take place in the intimate Tivoli or Crescendo where both audience and musicians can sit in vibrant\, close proximity. Musicians often stay after the performance to informally speak about the program and their upcoming concerts. \n
