Striking and dramatic in their musical choices\, RossoRose seamlessly melds their classical training with the rhythms and musical freedom of a variety of traditions that include tango and American roots music and are not shy about breaking rules in order to communicate with an audience. \nAmy and Alisa are both faculty members of the Pre-College at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music. Alisa Rose has performed with a wide range of artists including the Real Vocal String Quartet\, 2008 Rockygrass winners 49 Special\, and Grammy-nominated Quartet San Francisco. Alisa has performed and taught throughout Eastern Europe as an Ambassador of the State Department\, and has performed at Carnegie Hall\, NPR’s Weekend Edition\, the historic Carter Family Fold festival\, TEDx Alcatraz with Bob Weir\, Song of the Mountains on PBS\, as well as numerous international tours. Much in demand as a collaborator\, and a chamber musician at heart\, Amy Zanrosso has shared the stage with principal members of the Montreal Symphony Orchestra\, Houston Symphony\, Orquestra Filarmônica de Minas Gerais (Brazil)\, Minnesota Orchestra\, San Francisco Symphony\, San Francisco Opera and the San Francisco Ballet. In Fall of 2015\, Amy worked with Gustavo Dudamel as the pianist for chorus rehearsals of Beethoven’s 9th Symphony and went on tour to China with the Grammy award winning Pacific Boy Choir. She has also appeared as soloist with the Canadian orchestra Symphony of the Kootenays. \n\nWEDNESDAY NOON CONCERTS\nThe community is invited to our complimentary Wednesday Noon Concert series. As part of our ongoing mission to use the transformative power of the arts to inspire and enrich our community\, we have opened our doors for the past two years\, every Wednesday at Noon\, and presented concerts performed by talented musicians that are free of charge to the public. These free noon performances offer listeners the opportunity to discover the beauty of music in an intimate accessible setting\, while providing the community with cultural enrichment and exposure to talented performers. \nConcerts are in a one-hour format and performances take place in the intimate Tivoli or Crescendo where both audience and musicians can sit in vibrant\, close proximity. Musicians often stay after the performance to informally speak about the program and their upcoming concerts. \n
