Instructor Bio
Patrick Nims has directed over 50 productions. He the co-founder and Artistic Director of Marin Summer Theater. For MST Pat has directed 16 shows including HEATHERS (BWWORLD SF Best Director and Best Musical), SPRING AWAKENING, IN THE HEIGHTS, LES MISERABLES, ROSENCRANTZ AND GUILDERNSTERN ARE DEAD, WEST SIDE STORY, CYRANO DE BERGERAC, LEGALLY BLONDE, SWEENEY TODD, INTO THE WOODS (NYA Best Director), and ANYTHING GOES. Pat has also directed COMPANY (TBA Best Production) and FIDDLER ON THE ROOF for Novato Theater Company, GEORGE M! and FOREVER PLAID for 6th Street Playhouse, THE MYSTERY OF EDWIN DROOD, PETER & THE STARCATCHER, THIS IS OUR YOUTH, and THE 25th ANNUAL PUTNAM COUNTY SPELLING BEE for Marin Onstage, and THE RAINMAKER for Sonoma Arts Live. Coming up he will be directing SILENT SKY for Beaverton Civic Theater, HAND TO GOD for Alterena Playhouse, URINETOWN for Stumptown Stages, and CRIMES OF THE HEART for Ross Valley Players.
