We are excited to announce a new chapter at the Throckmorton Theatre with the creation of the Throckmorton Youth Theatre Ensemble ( T.Y.T.E)! Follow a small group of young/young adult artists affecting change and inspiration in our communities through discussion, action and ultimately, theatre. Our mission is to enhance not just the capabilities and potential of our young theatre artists, but to build a company that can reach out to our communities far and wide with powerful and engaging work that resonates and speaks to our current world.

"In Blue Yonder the audience meets a group of mesmerizing and eccentric humans including a flight instructor, a firefighter, a woman who donates body parts, an employment counselor, a professional softball player, a surgical nurse, professional baseball player, and a daredevil who plays with dynamite. Through the monologues, each person examines their life's work and explores the career that they’ve found...

- Erin Gentry
Erin Gentry ( Company Director) studied at the University of San Francisco, graduating with a BA in Performing Arts and Social Justice with an emphasis on dance, and has training in tap, jazz, and contemporary styles. A longtime musical theater lover, she is a director, choreographer, performer, and collaborator, and has performed onstage from a young age. Favorite past shows include Cabaret, Chicago, Urin
COMPANY MEMBERS
Maisie McPeek (Member) is 16 years old and a junior at Redwood High School. Some of her favorite past roles are Mrs. Wormwood (Matilda), Donna (Mamma Mia), Cinderella (Into the Woods), and Elle Woods (Legally Blonde). When she isn't performing, she enjoys playing instruments, playing beach volleyball, surfing, and being with her friends. She can't wait to be a part of this company!
Hannah Canin (Member) is 13 years old, and is an 8th grader at MVMS. She loves performing at the Throckmorton, and most recently appeared as Logainne Schwartzandgrubeniere in the cast of The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee. In her free time Hannah enjoys art, piano, singing, dancing, music, and snuggling her dog, Scout. She is so excited to be a part of this company!
Jordan Smith (Member) is a freshman at Tam High. He is 14 years old and has been involved in musical theater since he was 8 years old. This is his 4th year as a school choir member. Some of his most memorable rolls have been Simba in The Lion King, Shrek in Shrek The Musical, Captain Hook in Peter Pan, The Escapologist in Matilda, and a member of the Harlem ensemble in Ragtime. He is also currently enrolled in Tam High’s drama program. Jordan intends to continue to pursue his musical theater dreams in the future and is really glad to be participating in the Throckmorton Youth Program.
Merrill Cover (Member) is an 8th grader at Mill Valley Middle School. She has been taking dance and musical theater classes since the age of two, and she enjoys dancing, singing, and acting. Her favorite roles include Little Red (Little Red Cries Wolf) and Dance Troupe Ancestor (Addams Family). This is her 9th thing she’s been a part of at Throckmorton and she is very excited to be back.
Charlotte Crowl (Member) has been working with the Throckmorton Theatre since 2016. Now, age 15 (as of October 26), Charlotte has performed in eight shows, including Oliver (pickpocket), Annie (Boylan sister), In The Heights (graffiti posse), and The Lion King Jr. (Timon). Aside from theatre, Charlotte loves drawing and taking long walks in cemeteries. Charlotte has three cats and loves spending time with them. Charlotte counts down the days until Theatre can flourish again, but keeps remembering that everyday is one step closer to success.
Zoe Neal (Member) is an 8th grader at MVMS. She is thrilled to be a part of the Throckmorton community! So far she has done 11 shows at Throckmorton. Some of her favorite roles were Leaf in The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, as well as Tommy in Matilda. In her free time she loves watching horror movies, and playing with her pets. She would like to thank all the teachers that make this amazing experience possible
Sophia Mittelman (Member) is a 7th grader at Del Mar middle school and loves performing at the Throckmorton. She has previously appeared in “Annie The Musical,” “The Addams Family,” “James and the Giant Peach," “Les Miserables” (virtually), and as Ladalord in The 25th Annual Putnam Spelling Bee production. She’s also performed as Alice in Katia & Company’s production of “Alice in Wonderland,” and in Broadway Camps, “The Boyfriend.” She thanks her family and the Throckmorton crew for all of their support.
Liev Bruce-Low (Member) is in 8th grade and is super excited to be back at the Throckmorton! Some past roles are Timon in The Lion King, Dill in To Kill a Mockingbird, and Uncle Fester in The Addams Family. He enjoys doing theatre all around the Bay Area, drawing, and playing games with his friends. This is his first time being in a company and he’s pumped!
Siena Wyman (Member) is a 7th grader at Marin Horizon school. In her freetime Siena likes to sing, play with her dogs, and practice soccer . Siena has been acting since the age of 4. Sienas most recent shows were Les mis, Little red cries Wolf, and James and the Giant peach. She loves theater and is so excited to be working with throckmorton again.
