Jackie Flynn
Jackie Flynn is an actor and comedian with prominent stand up appearances, as well as extensive film credits to his name. Jackie has emerged as one of the funniest and most talked about comedians to come out of Boston, gracing the stages of the Improv, Comedy Store, Flappers, The Laugh Factory and other noteworthy venues. He has parlayed his success as a stand-up to firmly establish himself in the film and television arena, featuring in several episodes of the hit series “The King of Queens,” and a guest appearance on “Veep” on HBO. Jackie has also appeared in “There’s Something About Mary,” “Me, Myself And Irene,” “Shallow Hal” and “Stuck On You.” More recently, he had prominent roles in “The Three Stooges,” playing opposite Kevin James in “Here Comes The Boom,” and an upcoming film “Special Unit.”
Kevin Flynn
Kevin Flynn has entertained audiences for years with his stand-up comedy performances, headlining at clubs and colleges around the world. His breakthrough came when he won the Boston Comedy Riot in 1988. He has since appeared in comedy specials on NBC, MTV and A&E; and his film and television credits include The Heartbreak Kid with Ben Stiller, Me, Myself and Irene with Jim Carrey, Osmosis Jones with Bill Murray and HBO’s Sex and the City. His one-man show, Around the Kitchen Table, won Best of the Fest at the Boston Comedy Festival and at HBO’s prestigious U.S. Comedy Arts Festival in Aspen.
Mickey Joseph
A Mickey Joseph performance is filled with a multitude of characters. His impressions are flavored with nostalgia. He goes from Woody Allen to Stevie Wonder, Bruce Dern to Jack Nicholson, Elvis to Ricky Ricardo. He flat out does the best Phil Silvers in the business. Mickey headlines comedy clubs in San Francisco, Los Angeles, Reno and Las Vegas. He’s opened for Willie Nelson, Huey Lewis, Michael Bublé, Ellen DeGeneres, George Lopez, Craig Ferguson, and Drew Carey. This rubber-faced, non-stop, comic genius should not be missed! He brings out the best in his audience with his jackhammer delivery, manic facial expressions and timely physical humor.
Kirk McHenry
Kirk was born and raised in Oakland, CA and blends all of his experiences together into a story-telling brand of comedy that has been likened to Bill Cosby with a Richard Pryor twist.From entertaining troops overseas to being featured on BET’s ComicView, BET’s One Mic Stand, and Jamie Foxx Laffapalooza, Kirk is well on his way to becoming a household name. Kirk has opened for comedic stars such as Paul Mooney, Bobby Slayton, Gary Owen, Charlie Murphy, Tommy Davidson and Eddie Griffin. We’re thrilled to welcome Kirk back to the Throckmorton with more of his dynamic side-splitting comedy.
Paco Romane
Paco Romane’s authentic, engaging, and unpredictable style has established him as an audience favorite. He is a comedian, writer, improviser, producer and actor currently residing in San Francisco and Los Angeles. Paco has appeared on Comedy Central and many national commercials and films. He has made countless festival appearances including: San Francisco Sketchfest (2004-Present), Outside Lands Festival, Gulf Coast Comedy Festival, Comedy Day and LaughFest. He was twice voted “Best Comedian” in San Francisco by The SF Weekly and SF Bay Guardian. Paco has written for The Gilbert Gottfried Roast and his comedy has been profiled on NBC Bay Area, NPR “Forum”, SF Examiner, SF Chronicle, SF Weekly, SF Bay Guardian, Time Out SF, 7×7, San Francisco Magazine, Spinning Platters and many others! Eccentric and random, Rubin doesn’t just take the stage, he attacks it. He’s big, he’s offbeat and is not easily forgotten. His material is thoroughly original, incredibly detailed and conjures vivid images. His determination to bring something unique to his audience is greatly appreciated by those who crave something different. A talented writer, performer and actor, The Rube (as his fans like to call him) has appeared in numerous feature films including “Dead in 5 Heartbeats,” Boondock saints 2, Off the Boulevard, Rob Schneider’s The Animal (Revolution) and lent his talented voice to the Disney cartoon, brandy and Mr. Whiskers. This San Francisco veteran has appeared on Late Friday (NBC), Roseanne (ABC) and was a key staff writer and actor on the sketch comedy show, Saturday Night Special (FOX). Eddie Ifft has been called one of the most underrated comics in America by The Onion and has proudly told jokes around the world to sold-out crowds in over 15 countries. Eddie is the host of one of the most successful podcasts in the comedy world called “Talkin’ Sh*t”. He has been seen as a guest star on “Legit” on the FX network. He filmed a brand new DVD that released last year. It is the follow up to his critically acclaimed DVD “Live From Australia.” That DVD was filmed in front of a sold out audience at the Sydney Opera House in Sydney, Australia. He has also released his own 30-minute special for Comedy Central and made numerous TV appearances on shows such as Gotham Comedy Live, Showtime’s the Green Room with Paul Provenza, Showtime’s Tommy Chong 420 Show, E!’s Chelsea Lately, NBC’s Last Comic Standing, Comedy Central’s Premium Blend, BET’s Comic View, NBC’s Late Friday Night, VH1’s Never Mind the Buzzcocks, Comic’s Unleashed.
