COMEDIAN BIOS
Allan Havey
Allan Havey is considered one of the best stand-ups working today and he is an accomplished actor, recently starring in eleven episodes of AMC’S highly acclaimed Mad Men as character Lou Avery. Allan recently guest-starred in Man in the High Castle on Amazon, and is featured in the 2016 Coen Brothers film, Hail Caesar! Allan’s other TV credits include 10 appearances on Late Night With David Letterman, as well as Seinfeld, Curb Your Enthusiasm, Up All Night, The Sarah Silverman Program, Men of a Certain Age and The Office. He also guest-starred on the Emmy Award winning show “Louie.” Allan’s standup has been represented at the Just For Laughs Comedy Festival in Montreal, the Kilkenny Comedy Festival in Ireland, the Aspen Comedy Festival, Comic Relief IV and V, and the New York Comedy Festival. He has toured Australia and Europe, and currently headlines in clubs and colleges across the U.S.
Barry Diamond
Barry Diamond is a stand up comedian as well as an actor and singer. His credits are impressive — he has guest starred in TV shows such as “Friends”, “Seinfeld”, “Politically Incorrect”, “Curb Your Enthusiasm” as well as every movie with the word “party” in it, Bachelor Party and House Party I and II. Barry has travelled and headlined comedy clubs, casinos and corporate events all over the English speaking world. He is an absolute hit on stage, a cut above the rest. With a powerful singing voice, Barry opens and closes his performance with two superb numbers. When Barry hits the stage, he creates different characters and impersonations, weaving together stories that are unique, wild, and hilarious.
Kevin Camia
Kevin Camia is a stand up comic from San Francisco, who now resides in Los Angeles. Kevin can soon be seen weekly on TBS’ “The Dress Up Gang.” He has appeared on Comedy Central’s “Live at Gotham” and Seeso’s “The Guest List.” Kevin was voted Best Up and Coming Comic at the Rooftop Aspen Comedy Festival; he was selected as a Comic’s Comic on Esquire.com; and his first CD “Kindness” was voted Top 10 Comedy Albums of 2010 on iTunes. Kevin has headlined at many of the nations top comedy clubs and festivals, including 4 sold out shows at Just For Laughs Toronto. As a writer, Kevin has written content for “Dany from LA” on MNETAmerica, MTV’s “Ridiculousness” and the “The Funny Drop” w/ Frankie Quinones, a web-based channel Mas Major produced by Broadway Video and NBC Universal.
Jono Zalay
Several years ago Jono Zalay moved from San Diego to Boston to pursue standup. He quickly became a staple in the New England comedy scene, while simultaneously earning his Doctorate in Neuroscience. Since dropping his science hobby to pursue stand-up full time, Jono has been named one of Comedy Central’s ‘Comics to Watch,’ and earned international press for his pranks on the DMV. Jono now splits time between Los Angeles and New York City where he has been featured in Time Out New York and over 30 comedy festivals around the country including Bridgetown, Limestone, and New York Comedy Festival.
Mike Betancourt
Mike is a comedian, actor, writer and producer. He has a colossal personality and a wide array of voices and characters that immediately command his audiences. Mike delves into twisted and controversial topics, using his charm to make them entertaining and hysterical. He has appeared in commercials, television shows and feature and short films. His works include Mamaboy, Love Rules (short film for which he won 2014 Best Supporting Actor), The Day I Almost Died (Discovery Life Channel), Good Day Sacramento, Comedy Time TV, Laughs TV and Wrestlemania 31. Mike makes his way to the stage like he’s ready for battle, and leaves it like a conquering hero to the cheers of the crowd.
Larry “Bubbles” Brown (host)
Larry “Bubbles” Brown is a San Francisco based comedian and a favorite of the Throckmorton. Larry tried stand up comedy in 1981 at the Holy City Zoo in SF and has stayed with it ever since. He has appeared on over 25 tv shows, including numerous appearances on David Letterman. He was also in the move “The Kiterunner.” Larry is a frequent opening act for Dana Carvey and Dave Attell.
