How many mothers will it take to make you laugh? In this show…all of them!  Larry “Bubbles” Brown hosts a special Mother’s Day Comedy show featuring a fabulous lineup of talent. Comedians include Kira Soltanovich, Bernadette Luckett, Sandi Selvi, Liz Stone, and Chelsea Bearce plus a special guest! These mothers of comedy will make your sides split as they delve into the hilarious joys and horrors of parenthood. All mothers need a good laugh, so treat yours to a night of off-the-cuff comedy!

Kira Soltanovich


screen-shot-2016-12-26-at-12-44-40-amSan Francisco native, Kira was a series regular on How To Be A Grownup for TruTV, the hidden camera show Girls Behaving Badly and was a correspondent on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno for over 8 years. Recently, Kira co-hosted the game show Winsanity with Donald Faison for the Game Show Network. One of Kira’s greatest achievements is shooting her latest 1 Hour Stand Up Special,You Did This To Me, which was completely self-produced and she shot it while over 7 months pregnant. Kira has appeared on The Jay Leno Show, Hello Ross! with Ross Mathews, Jimmy Kimmel Live, Last Call with Carson Daly, Hell’s Kitchen, Last Comic Standing, Set List TV, and The World Stands Up on Comedy Central. She has written for Joan Rivers, Scott Baio, Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber.

Bernadette Luckett


Bernadette Luckett is originally from the SF Bay Area, but started her standup career in New York City after working as a professional model, a cookie packer, and a lab technician at a VD clinic. She performed at comedy clubs all over the US and appeared on numerous TV shows, then segued from standup into sitcom writing, and has worked on several shows including: Living Single; Sister, Sister; The Tracy Morgan Show; Girlfriends; and Romeo!. After a 17-year hiatus, Bernadette returned to standup funnier than ever. In addition to being a contributing essayist to the anthology NO KIDDING Bernadette worked as a Co-Producer on the documentary, “Comedy Warriors: Healing Through Humor,” which received a 2014 Television Academy Honors Award – for television programming that inspires, informs, motivates, and even has the power to change lives.

Sandi Selvi


Sandi Selvi is a comedian, writer and Bay Area native. She has been delighting audiences with her wit and insight at places like the Improv, Rooster T. Feathers, the Comedy Store, Caroline’s on Broadway and many other venues since her successful stem cell transplant. Magazine and newspaper articles have been written about her life and sense of humor, and she was featured in the movie Comedy, Ain’t for the Money.

 Liz Stone


Liz Stone is a corporate attorney who discovered stand up comedy as a balance to the corporate grind and has been entertaining audiences with her unique perspective ever since. She performs all over the Bay Area, in small towns throughout America, and was voted one of “America’s Funniest Lawyers”. She performed in the 2017 SF Sketchfest Festival and is the current reigning Tourettes Without Regrets “Passive Aggressive Compliment Champion“.

 Chelsea Bearce


Chelsea Bearce is a sketch comedy writer and performer, a parody writer and performer, an improv actor and a stand up comic. You can find out more about her at www.chelseabearce.com

Larry “Bubbles” Brown (host)


 Larry “Bubbles” Brown is a San Francisco based comedian and a favorite of the Throckmorton. Larry tried stand up comedy in 1981 at the Holy City Zoo in SF and has stayed with it ever since. He has appeared on over 25 tv shows, including numerous appearances on David Letterman. He was also in the move “The Kiterunner.” Larry is a frequent opening act for Dana Carvey and Dave Attell.
