Tuesday Night Live Comedy! is recognized as one of Bay Area’s best stand-up comedy showcases. Each week 5-8 different comics take to the mic for a hilarious evening of live stand up. Line-ups always feature a mix of fresh talent on the rise and veteran comedians from around the world. Come see what the fun is all about!
THE COMEDIANS
Paul Morrissey
Comedian known for his many TV appearances on “The Late Show with David Letterman” & “The Late, Late Show with Craig Ferguson.” He co-hosts the popular “Come To Papa” podcast with Tom Papa on the All Things Comedy Network & Sirius/XM Radio. Paul has headlined clubs and theaters around the world including: Magner’s Comedy Festival in Singapore & Hong Kong, Montreux Comedy Festival in Switzerland, Just For Laughs Festival in Montreal & the Lucille Ball Festival in New York. Morrissey is former ABC TV Sports Anchor, and also appeared in the Nike “Riquickulous” commercials with NBA star Chris Paul.
Robert Duchaine
Robert Duchaine is a surly misanthrope. His sarcastic social commentary pokes fun at a myriad of topics including race, religion, and relationships. He’s been kicked out of every organization he was ever forced to join, from the Cub Scouts to the U.S. Army, and fired from every job he ever finagled. Robert finally found a refuge where he can make his own rules – the stand-up comedy stage. Now an established national touring headliner, Robert performs regularly in Las Vegas show rooms, colleges, comedy clubs and concert venues. Duchaine is also involved in avant-garde theater and independent film. Robert’s unique perspective fuels an act that pushes the envelope. Duchaine is candid, entertaining, and always hilarious!
Tobe Hixx
Tobe Hixx began his Comedy career in San Diego, California where he was voted San Diego’s Funniest Man! During his comedic journey, Tobe has done thousands of shows across the world. He has been seen in sketches on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, The Doctors (Man Cave Segment), Operation Repo, and 1000 Ways to Die! Tobe has performed for the troops in over 15 different countries. The LA Times writes, “Tobe Hixx is a true comedian.” His versatility and crowd work has audiences erupting with laughter.
Brent Pella
Brent Pella is a comedian based out of Los Angeles, CA. His comedy sketches and music videos have gained millions of views around the world and have been featured on Funny or Die, College Humor, BroBible, The Chive, and Worldstar HipHop. Brent grew up in Davis, California, played basketball in college, and currently tours colleges and clubs around the country as a stand-up comedian. He’s performed at multiple NACA showcases and in 2016 was featured on MTV’s Greatest Party Stories Ever. A graduate of both UCB and The Groundlings improv programs, Brent recently performed as a member of the iO Sunday Sketch Show in LA, and continues to write/produce his own weekly comedy videos for release every Tuesday on his YouTube channel.
Jeen Yee
Jeen Yee is a Bay Area based stand up comedian. Born in Canada, raised in California, and having lived overseas for ten years, she’s delighted to be back in the Bay. Jeen has performed around the world, including Hong Kong, Istanbul, and Cancun. She’s performed in both English and Spanish, and is still working up the courage to do stand up in Chinese, as her family would be laughing at, not with, her. Her multicultural experiences and past work as a teacher lace her comedy with insight into humans of various ages and contexts. Onstage, you’ll find Jeen toying with perceptions, airing her family’s dirty laundry, and talking about her dog while secretly loving cats. Jeen thinks laughter is the best sugar to make life’s medicine go down. And she likes awkward metaphors.
Michael Meehan
Michael Meehan found his niche in the San Francisco comedy scene in the 80’s. He performs comedy both as a solo act and with his two brothers in the comedy trio, The Meehan Brothers. He has appeared on numerous television shows including The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson, Last Comic Standing (NBC), The Dennis Miller Show (CBS) and Stand Up Spotlight (VH1), A&E and Comedy Central. Michael has performed alongside some of the top comedians to date including Robin Williams, Bob Goldthwait and Will Durst.
