Food will be provided by Harmony Restaurant. Guests enjoy wines donated by Garnet Hill and Picket Fence Vineyards. After the event, guests are invited to stay for cocktails and enjoy Harvey Cohen gourmet doughnuts. Guests will receive a special treat from CC Made.

Mill Valley Library Foundation brings together a diverse group of authors, musicians and poets for a night of entertainment, music and food to benefit our extraordinary Mill Valley Public Library. This year’s presenters include:
- Josh Healey: Master of Ceremonies for the event, Josh is a hugely popular writer, performer, activist and storyteller. He is a frequent performer on NPR’s Snap Judgement.
- Frances England: Award-winning indie folk musician, her first CD was intended only as a preschool fundraiser, but word of mouth brought it to a wider audience and critical accolades.
- Dan Geller and Dayna Goldfine: Emmy-winning producers of critically acclaimed documentaries including The Galapagos Affair: Satan Came to Eden.
- Wendy MacNaughton: Celebrated illustrator and graphic journalist based in San Francisco beloved for Lost Cat: A True Story of Love, Desperation and GPS Technology and Meanwhile In San Francisco.
- Adam Mansbach: Author of the #1 New York Times bestseller Go the F**k to Sleep and NPR Book of the Year Rage is Back.
- Dean Rader: Widely published in the fields of poetry, American Indian studies and popular culture, his debut collection of poems, Works & Days, won the 2010 T. S. Eliot Poetry Prize. He is a professor of English at the University of San Francisco
- Laura Sydell: The digital culture correspondent for NPR’s All Things Considered, Morning Edition, Weekend Edition, and NPR.org. Over her career she has covered politics, arts, media, religion and entrepreneurship.
Foundation-Supported Programs: Proceeds from the event are used to fund these much-loved library programs for the whole community:
First Fridays and After Hours Events: Bringing the community together to enjoy thought-provoking lectures and arts performances including dance, poetry slams, and live storytelling.
Children’s and Middle School Programming: Supporting 675 diverse programs in early literacy, STEM and experiential learning, attended by 26,572 participants, and highly valued by parents.
Teen Programming: Meeting the academic and social needs of teens through programming that puts the needs and interests of teens front and center.
Laptop Lab: Covering the spectrum of basic instruction to high-end graphic design, and providing a supportive environment in which attendees can gain new skills or become more tech savvy.
Digital Content: Offering residents free downloadable ebooks, audiobooks, and magazines, so they can use the Library 24/7 and read or listen in the format they prefer.
Film: Funding the California Film Institute DVD Collection at the Library and IndieFlix (independent film streaming service). In addition, The Foundation is building an endowment to sustain these programs long into the future.
