Tuesday Night Live Comedy! is recognized as one of Bay Area’s best stand-up comedy showcases. Each week renowned comedians from all around the world as well as today’s hottest up-and-coming comedy stars, hit the stage for a hilarious night of live stand-up.

Pat Hazell

Showtime declared Pat Hazell one of the five funniest people in America. He has over 25 years of experience as a writer, comic, playwright, actor, producer and director. Pat is one of the original writers for NBC’s Seinfeld, a Tonight Show veteran, a critically acclaimed playwright and a contributing commentator to National Public Radio. He is recognized for his genuinely funny Americana humor and his salute to nostalgia. As a playwright, Pat’s first endeavor Bunk Bed Brothers was optioned by Columbia Pictures, then gained the attention of the TV industry and was filmed as the sit-com, American Pie, for NBC. Hazell’s signature work, The Wonder Bread Years, a grand salute to the baby-boomer generation, aired on PBS where they referred to Hazell as “America’s Foremost Pop Culture Anthropologist.” Currently, the live theatrical tour of The Wonder Bread Years is enjoying success across the US.

Brad Wenzel

Brad Wenzel is best known for his offbeat, one-liners. His unassuming presence and dry delivery are what set him apart from other comedians. A product of the Detroit comedy scene and now residing in Los Angeles, Brad has made 3 stand-up appearances on CONAN. Brad’s debut album “Sweet Nothings” was released on Jack White’s label, Third Man Records. He also won first place at the Great American Comedy Festival, was a finalist in Funny or Die’s “Road 2 Oddball”, performed at RIOT LA, and was selected to be one of the “New Faces” at the prestigious Just for Laughs Festival in Montreal, among other festival appearances. Rob Christensen

Rob Christensen is a comedian, writer, and actor who has most recently appeared on Adam Devine’s House Party for Comedy Central, Last Comic Standing for NBC, Gotham Comedy Live for AXS TV, and Quicklaffs for HULU. He has a sharp, smart, and urban sense of humor developed through his experiences growing up in Brooklyn as a skateboarder, rapper, graffiti artist, and eventually an Air Force Sergeant.  Rob is the 2013 Winner of the Westside’s Standup Showdown in Los Angeles, CA and a regular at the Hollywood Improv. In 2012 he wrote and starred in a TV pilot titled Low Lifes. Rob is a festival favorite as he’s appeared in the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, IO West Scripted Comedy Festival, AMFM Fest, Westside Comedy Festival, Boston Comedy Arts Festival, Comedy Central’s Up Next Tour, SF Sketchfest, Dallas Comedy Festival, Laughing Skull Festival, The Comedy Exposition, Milwaukee Comedy Festival, Out Of Bounds Fest and the Asheville Comedy Festival. Rob lives in Los Angeles and loves Wu-tang, pugs, and bagels.

Joe Praino

Joe Praino is a comedian, actor and podcast host with his sights set on his own late-night talk show. He has two podcasts, Dirty Sports (with Andy Ruther), which showcases his immense depth of sports knowledge, and the Kooks of Komedy (with Lachlan Patterson). He can be seen performing at several clubs in New York City & L.A., including Gotham Comedy Club, The Stand, The Improv and the Westside Comedy Theater.  A native New Yorker, Praino began his stand-up career at the early age of 19 while majoring in Journalism and Communications at Lehigh University, where he was Program Director of the campus radio station. Praino made a name for himself when his ambition and performing talents led him to host his own comedy/music show, “The Joe Show,” with guests ranging from the University President to inmates from the Lehigh Valley Correctional facility.

Anna Valenzuela

Anna Valenzuela has a radiant smile that’s wonderfully at odds with her dark material. A trained black-belt, she’s fought her way to the top of LA’s competitive stand-up scene with sheer force of will and killer jokes. She can easily roast the audience, other comics, and herself with equal aplomb. Anna’s skills earned her a spot on Comedy Central’s Roast Battle, where she emotionally destroyed her opponents while maintaining her balance in kitten heels.  Her warm nature draws audiences in, and her expertly-crafted bits keep them coming back for more. She’s in-demand in LA and elsewhere, having been featured as for three years running at Broke LA, and also making regular appearances at the Comedy Store, and the Improv. She’s traveled out-of-state to festivals like All Jane and the Flyover Comedy Festival, and was a standout in her hometown at the Second City’s Los Angeles Diversity in Comedy Festival. Accolades have come from other comedians too – Jackie and Laurie featured Anna as the comic of the week on their far-reaching podcast. As much in demand for her opinions as her jokes, Anna’s appeared on Fangirling streaming on Nerdist, and she hosts two podcasts: 12 Questions, an in-depth look at sobriety, and Bruja-ja, where three Latinas dish on all things Latinx.

Jesse Perkins

Jesse Perkins was born and raised in Petaluma, California. He began performing stand up comedy at UC Santa Barbara, as part of a group called Laughology. He currently lives in New York City, where he performs at clubs all throughout the five boroughs, being featured on shows such as Roastmasters at The Stand.

Michael Meehan

Michael Meehan found his niche in the San Francisco comedy scene in the 80’s.  He has appeared on numerous television shows including The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson, Last Comic Standing (NBC), The Dennis Miller Show (CBS) and Stand Up Spotlight (VH1), A&E and Comedy Central. Michael has performed alongside some of the top comedians to date including Robin Williams, Bob Goldthwait and Will Durst.
