Dave Nihill (Host)
Leaving Dublin, Ireland where he was born and raised until the age of 22, Dave got drunk on travel and never quite hit sobriety of it. He has lived and worked in twelve countries and visited over seventy. His shows draw on his wide travels, cultural observations, attempts at language study, (occasional) international drinking session(s) and being a mildly confused immigrant in the US. Dave is the winner of the prestigious 43rd annual San Francisco Comedy Competition, and runner up in the Moth’s largest US Grandslam storytelling competition. A festival favourite Dave was part of the Irish Kings of Comedy Tour, San Francisco Sketchfest, SLO Comedy Festival, Desi Fest, the Kansas City Irish Festival, the Westside Standup Showdown Festival, the Ventura Comedy Festival, the Wine Country Comedy Festival, the Santa Cruz Comedy Festival, and the Dalkey, Listowel, Los Gatos, Hinterland and Belfast writers festivals.
Cory Michaelis
Cory Michaelis has opened for and been mentored by Louie Anderson who helped him record a 45-minute squeaky-clean comedy special “Bad Teacher”. Additionally, his first album “The Collage Dropout” (45 minutes of not-quite-as-clean material) was released June 19th, 2018 on 800 Pound Gorilla Records and reached #2 on the Billboard Chart and iTunes charts. Cory is a regular headliner in all of the clubs in the Pacific Northwest, opener at Brad Garrett’s Comedy Club at the MGM Grand Casino in Las Vegas, and has headlined many fine and not-so-fine comedy clubs, casinos, colleges, and weird bars all over the country. He was invited to the NOHO Comedy Festival, the Bridgetown Comedy Festival in Portland, Oregon, the Limestone Comedy Festival in Bloomington, Indiana, and headlined the Idaho Laugh Fest in Boise. Stand-up Comedy gave him his start in television/films, however he has been performing in professional plays since 1996.
Wendy Lewis
Just five years into her stand up career, Wendy Lewis may be a late-blooming comedian but her talent is undeniable. Wendy can entertain audiences like the best of them. The Sacramento News & Review says she “should be a household name around town and maybe soon will be.” Since 2016, Wendy has co-produced Sacramento’s monthly comedy series, Comedy Burger, alongside fellow comic and SN&R columnist Ngaio Bealum. Wendy also co-hosts the podcast Fat Chicks On Top and hosts a weekly open-mic every Friday at Vince’s Ristorante in West Sacramento.
