Award-winning jazz duo Julie Nicholas and Sheilah Glover are known for their rich, satisfying harmonies. The duo’s impeccable vocal union and love of harmony has garnered much praise in the Bay Area jazz music scene. On June 16 Nicholas and Glover deliver a special two-set concert featuring a roster of notable talent.
Kicking off the musical evening, Nicholas and Glover will be joined by the talented Robin Flower and Libby McLaren. The double-duo performance will serve up some outstanding 3 and 4 part harmonies on Boswell Sisters, Americana, and some originals too. Jazzing it up for the second set of the evening, Nicholas and Glover will be joined by Bay Area legend Gini Wilson on piano, Mark Culbertson on acoustic bass and Akira Tana on drums. Cintra Wilson and Lizzy Hersey will also join in for more beautiful, rich harmonies. Expect some high energy fun!
