Tuesday Night Live Comedy features fresh talent on the rise, alongside veteran comics from around the world. Our theatre-style stage combined with an intimate comedy club atmosphere provides a truly unique and memorable experience. MEET THE COMEDIANS

CHRIS FRANJOLA

Chris Franjola is a writer/comedian who began his comedy career on Long Island.  Chris was a writer and a regular performer on E!’s hit show “Chelsea Lately” for 8 years. Together with the talented writing staff, Chris wrote over 1500 episodes while performing on the show more than anyone else beside Chelsea Handler and Chuy.  During his time on the show Chris created some of the shows most memorable characters like Gay Caveman, Bieber Man, Johnny Depp, Seventeen Magazine Players and many more. He also starred on the critically acclaimed scripted comedy series “After Lately,” which aired for three seasons on E!, he was the host of the Sons of Anarchy aftershow Anarchy Afterword, airing live on FX.  Last year Chris released his first comedy album “The Shallow End” which received rave reviews and stayed in iTunes Top 10 Comedy Albums for 5 weeks. Earlier this year Chris could be seen as a contributing panelist on The Josh Wolf Show on CMT and Funniest Fails on Fox. When he isn’t busy writing and acting, he’s performing stand-up on the road, headlining venues all over the country.  Before Chelsea Lately, Chris wrote for other shows, including Family Guy, the MTV Video Music Awards, and the original Chelsea Handler Show. Chris can also be seen beginning in 2017 on the new Netflix show from the makers of Orange Is The New Black, GLOW.


YURI KAGAN

Yuri Kagan is a nice Jewish boy or at least that’s what it says on the JDate profile his mother created for him.  He grew up in San Diego where he learned that while other people tan, he ignites. He moved to San Francisco to get a degree in bad habits and telling jokes. Yuri is a dry-humor, observational, dead-pan comedian who talks about growing up with an entire family from the Soviet Union without holding anything back.  He has been profiled in SFWeekly and the Vallejo Daily Republic.  He has also performed in SF Sketchiest 20014&16, on Comedytime.tv, corporate events, comedy clubs all over the country on any stage that will let him.  He is a contributor to Queerty.com along with Savage Henry Magazine.  Yuri also received much acclaim for his blog and new book “Vodka and Limelight.” Now available in both print and on Amazon kindle!


MARK PITTA (host)

Mark Pitta is a national headliner coming from the fervent San Francisco comedy scene of the 1980s. Mark’s career flourished in LA, first, fulfilling his dream of appearing on The Tonight Show with Johnny Carson then subsequent appearances with Jay Leno. Mark landed a job as host of Totally Hidden Video for the FOX network and then hosting Friday Night Videos for NBC. He has appeared on numerous shows on Comedy Central including Premium Blend, The A-List, Dr. Katz, and Make Me Laugh. A favorite on the comedy club, college, and corporate circuit, Mark has also opened for Chris Issak, Celene Dion, Vanessa Williams, Paul Anka, Kenny Rogers, Olivia Newton John, Smokey Robinson, Big Bad Voodoo Daddy, and Rick Springfield. www.markpitta.com


RICK PULIDO

Rick hits the stage with energetic, prolific and profound observations. He was a contributing writer for the Tonight Show with Jay Leno and has been featured on HBO, Comedy Central, Showtime, PBS, CBS, A&E, and TLC. Rick has been featured in numerous TV commercials and films. As a standup comedian, Rick has performed at clubs, colleges and festivals all over the map including the Punchline, The Comedy Store, The Improv, and Just for Laughs.


DONALD LACY

Donald E. Lacy, Jr. is a standup comedian, actor, playwright, filmmaker and radio broadcaster. Lacy regularly tours across the U. S. and around the world as a headlining comedian. He has appeared on BET’s “Comic View” and HBO’s “Def Comedy Jam.” Lacy has performed for the troops abroad in two Far East tours that included Japan, Okinawa, Korea, Singapore, and Diego Garcia. He was the first runner-up in the “1993 Bay Area Black Comedy Competition.” As a filmmaker, Lacy has received a Bay Area Cable Excellence Award, and a Black Filmmakers Hall of Fame Award. Lacy was the acting coach and writer for Jamie Foxx’s pilot “These Nuts” and also wrote a pilot “Special Delivery” for Queen of Comedy, Laura Hayes. To learn more, visit www.donaldlacy.com


JOSH ARGYLE

Josh Argyle is a writer and stand-up comedian living and performing regularly throughout the SF Bay Area. Before making the jump to stand-up in 2010, Josh was an improv comic for five years. He is the San Francisco Bureau Chief of the west coast humor magazine, Savage Henry Independent Times, regularly contributing as a writer & as co-producer of the S.H.I.Ts & Giggles Comedy Festival in Arcata, CA. He also co-produces “It’s Just 2 Minutes,” a monthly standup improv show in San Francisco. Josh has participated in the Sacramento Comedy Festival and the Ventura Comedy Festival. MIKEY WALZ

Mikey Walz is a standup comic, writer and musician out of San Francisco, CA. The son of a Jingle writing ex-folk singer father and a late-blooming lesbian psychologist mother, he developed a strange, quizzical, and occasionally musical brand of thinking. His style oscillates between playful and theatrical, skating between silly and mildly troubled. Mikey has performed on some of the best stages the Bay Area has to offer; such as Cobb’s, Punchline, Doc’s Lab, Tommy-T’s, Cynic Cave, and many others. He frequently hits the road as well, performing across the country at venues such as The World Famous Comedy Store (L.A. and San Diego), The Blue Room Theater in Chico CA, The House of Blues in New Orleans, and the Oberon Theater and Laugh Boston in Boston MA. He’s also performed at SF Sketchfest The Chico Comedy Festival as well as the Savage Henry Comedy Festival in Humboldt CA. Currently Mikey produces Bay Area shows “TGIF’d” and “Chillarious” at Savvy Rest in Berkeley. To learn more, visit www.mikeywalz.com
