MEET THE COMEDIANS

Jackie Kashian

Jackie Kashian is a comic, podcaster, writer, actor and occasional bottle washer if there’s some attention to be garnered. Jackie’s brand new album, I Am Not The Hero Of This Story, was #1 comedy album on iTunes and Amazon the first week of its release and is critically acclaimed. She is in the eleventh year of her podcast The Dork Forest, where she talks with people about what they love to do, think about and collect. All things are dorky and it’s dork on dork dialog. She also has a new podcast on the Nerdist Network with Laurie Kilmartin called The Jackie and Laurie Show.

Ryan McCormick

Ryan began his stand-up career by begging his parents to let him stay up and watch Johnny Carson’s monologue and performing those jokes the next day at school. Stealing did not last long, as Ryan started to write his own material and perform it in his Economics class his senior year of high school. During college Ryan performed a few times, and not long after college, he was performing at open mike nights at a local comedy club. His first paid week was April of 1989 as the Emcee. Soon after that he moved into the Emcee/Open slot and the rest is…well you know. Performing throughout the Midwest at clubs and colleges as well as corporate events, Ryan brings a very likable stage persona and you feel like you have known him for a long time. Covering a varied range of topics, Ryan easily weaves a nice comical slant on dating, marriage, divorce, children and his most proud accomplishment-being a cancer survivor. In the nearly 20 years Ryan as been performing, he has really grown as a performer and he is sure to please.

Mat Alano-Martin

Mat Alano-Martin comes to comedy from the world of rock and roll, where he spent 10 years touring North America as a member of several unknown bands and as a tour manager for much more successful, well known bands. With a comedic style that bridges the social and political views of his indie-rock background with the attitude and sensibilities of his rural and blue collar youth, Alano-Martin has appeared at comedy clubs, theaters, punk rock dives, redneck roadhouses, casinos, colleges, living rooms and everywhere in between. Alano-Martin’s debut album “Profiled as Such” can be heard on the Sirius/XM Raw Dog comedy channel and he has appeared on the nationally syndicated The Bob & Tom Show.
