Guided by artist and activist, Gary Stanford Jr. with assistance by local talent Davon Smith,  this course explores ways in which to express social injustice, history and social change through art. The class will meet twice a week at the theatre and  focus on discussions around our current climate and realizing the problems and will look at ways in which to create the solutions. All voices and artistic mediums are encouraged to join as we educate, understand and appreciate the accomplishments and advancements of different cultures in American society through art and performance.
