Please join us at noon for the Enriching Lives through Music (ELM) Winter Concert, the second annual concert Throckmorton Theatre has underwritten for ELM, an organization committed to providing free and intensive music programs to low-income youth. The concert will be conducted by Martha Stoddard and Artistic Director Juan Felipe Molano from the Los Angeles Philharmonic. ELM students will be performing works by Bizet, Tchaikovsky, Piazzola, and Latin favorites Chamambo and El Cumbanchero. Admission is complimentary to the public.
Throckmorton Theatre is a non-profit organization committed to broad cultural access and understanding for all members of our community. We open our doors to local non-profit organizations and provide low-to-no cost opportunities for them to increase outreach and provide support for their mission and good works.

Enriching Lives through Music (ELM) inspires youth from underserved neighbor
hoods to thrive emotionally, socially and academically through music education, performance, and engagement in a vibrant center of musical excellence. ELM enriches the lives of over 120 students from the largely Latino immigrant Canal neighborhood of San Rafael, California through free and intensive music programs.
ELM is a full scholarship multi-year program that provides music education, ensemble, and performance opportunities to low-income youth to develop the social, emotional, and academic skills they need to succeed in life. ELM’s students work with top-notch teachers, mentors, and musicians to progress from a tune on the recorder to a symphony, salsa or samba on a classical instrument.
