Join us in celebrating the 80th birthday of Jules Broussard – the talented musician who has been a driving force in the creation of our vibrant Bay Area musical community! For over three decades Jules has shared studio and stage with such luminaries as Ray Charles, Boz Scaggs, Van Morrison, Carlos Santana, Earl Grant, Elvin Bishop, Art Garfunkel and Doctor Hook. Help us honor this Bay Area jazz legend’s special day with an evening of incredible music and the best company around!
Born in Louisiana, Jules began when he was only twelve years old, organizing bands and playing lead saxophone around his home town. After a stint in the US Air Force and then traveling throughout the US, Europe and Asia, Jules settled in San Francisco and has been a Bay Area favorite for over 30 years.
