Join us for the debut of “Lib Live,” a new series of interviews, comedy and music, co-hosted by Marin IJ music writer Paul Liberatore and music director Jimmy Dillon.
For the first “Lib Live” evening, Paul Liberatore interviews former Chronicle rock critic Joel Selvin about “Fare Thee Well,” his controversial new Grateful Dead book about the tumultuous period that followed the death of Jerry Garcia.“Selvin understands that some of the tales in his book may disillusion Grateful Dead fans,” Rolling Stone says in its review, “but he wanted them to know the unvarnished truth.”
Liberatore, who has profiled countless fascinating Marin County personalities over his long career with the IJ, also interviews Book Passage owner Bill Petrocelli about his new novel, “Through the Bookstore Window.” “Take a peek through a bookstore window and grab this terrific read,” says award-winning author Kelli Stanley
