The Musers come to the Throckmorton to celebrate the release of their latest CD “TURN IT ON”. This is their third recording in 3 years together as a band. The record features 10 new songs with 3 co-writes. Recorded on their home turf in Sebastopol, the record leaves the sounds of the acoustic instruments natural, warm, and woody, and the voices treated sparingly to enhance the sister blend of Megan and Anita. The songs are thought-provoking, reminding us that we have an inner world to nurture. They could also make you laugh and dance. The band dips into many genres as we have come to expect from The Musers including, Appalachian, folk, swing. There’s even a jam band song. The whole thing grooves, and glows by light of Tom’s bass and mouth percussion.
