Over the last few years, percussionist Ian Dogole and master multi-instrumentalist and sound healer René Jenkins have developed a symbiotic chemistry that knows no bounds. Their musical forays are deeply rooted in the ancestral indigenous music cultures of the Americas, Africa and beyond and when combined with their irrepressible spirit of adventure, the result is a sonic feast for the senses and an uplifting, healing experience that is transformational. Music Beyond Borders is part of our Sunday Sessions Series which offer the community the opportunity to discover artists and be inspired in an intimate and positive setting. To ensure accessibility we offer these sessions free of charge to the public. We pay a small stipend to performers. We are a non-profit organization and we gratefully accept your donations in order to support top-quality programs that include every member of our community.
