“From ancient grudge break to new mutiny”
A brawl in the street, a grand ball, a peek into the Friar’s private quarters. Throckmorton Theatre’s Romeo and Juliet is an immersive, emotional take on the greatest love story of all time.
The production will feature two casts: a main cast of professional adult actors and a secondary cast of teens, ages 13-18. Teens cast in the production will be part of Throckmorton’s Performing Apprenticeship, which offers a unique combination of performance, training and observation.
Teen PAs will be mentored by the cast of professional actors and will perform with their own cast on the mainstage. This immersive experience is a great chance for adult actors to help nurture the lives of young artists and for young actors to build relationships with industry professionals and prepare for future theatre endeavors.
