Kimrea’s Sunday Pro-Showcase will feature Santa Rosa based, legendary blues guitarist and singer Levi Lloyd. Levi will be joined by his fantastic band – Ron Lacie (keys), Donny Mederos (bass) and Jeffrey White (drums).
PERFORMER BIO
Levi Lloyd is a blues veteran who has played with B. B. King, John Lee Hooker, Johnny Otis and toured worldwide as the longtime guitarist for the great Joe Louis Walker. Levi’s well-worn ’68 Les Paul guitar and lowdown vocals tell it all. Winner of North Bay Music Awards (Norby) “Best Blues/R&B Band” in 2012, Levi was also nominated for “Best Blues Band” (2007), “Best Blues Guitarist” (2008) and “Best Blues Band” (2010).

Kimrea’s Sunday Pro Showcase, part of Throckmorton Theatre’s Sunday Sessions series, invites some of the Bay Area’s unsung working musicians to showcase their talent. These musicians form the backbone of the local music scene. Performers are established Bay Area session players, sidemen and undiscovered talent.
Kimrea’s Sunday Pro Showcase events are free for the community. Concessions are available for purchase at the event. Donations to the Theatre help support these wonderful community programs. Throckmorton Theatre is a non-profit performing arts venue.
Kimrea is a prolifically active songwriter and performing musician. She and her band play regularly around the Bay Area, including every Monday at the historic No Name Bar in Sausalito, CA.
