Pat Hazell
Showtime declared Pat Hazell one of the five funniest people in America. He has over 25 years of experience as a writer, comic, playwright, actor, producer and director. Pat is one of the original writers for NBC’s Seinfeld, a Tonight Show veteran, a critically acclaimed playwright and a contributing commentator to National Public Radio. He is recognized for his genuinely funny Americana humor and his salute to nostalgia. As a playwright, Pat’s first endeavor Bunk Bed Brothers was optioned by Columbia Pictures, then gained the attention of the TV industry and was filmed as the sit-com, American Pie, for NBC. Hazell’s signature work, The Wonder Bread Years, a grand salute to the baby-boomer generation, aired on PBS where they referred to Hazell as “America’s Foremost Pop Culture Anthropologist.” Currently, the live theatrical tour of The Wonder Bread Years is enjoying success across the US.
Nick Griffin
Nick Griffin has appeared on Conan, The Late Late Show, in his own half-hour Comedy Central special and was featured on The Late Show with David Letterman eleven times. A comic for more than 25 years, Griffin’s smart, sarcastic and hilarious style makes him one of the most well-respected in the business. Justin Lockwood
Justin Lockwood is a San Francisco Funny Fest champion and was featured at Comedy Day ’16 in Golden Gate Park. He is the host and producer of Comedy Rocks at Rock Wall Winery and performs regularly at clubs, theaters and events around the Bay Area and beyond. Jason Resler
Jason Resler is a comedian and writer hailing from Sacramento. Entertainment Business Journal named him among America’s Top Working Comedians and the Sacramento News & Review described his performance as “sharp, smart material that kept the crowd in hysterics!” Resler’s comedy album “Road Comic” can be heard regularly on Raw Dog Comedy on Sirius/XM Satellite Radio and Comedy Icons on Pandora Radio. Resler’s TV credits include two appearances on Comedy Central’s Laugh Riots and a whopping five appearances on Comedy Time. Dash Kwiatkowski
Dash Kwiatkowski is a chubby nerd. He’s into comic books and jokes. He is currently the longest reigning Intercontinental Comedy Champion. Dash features at The Comedy Attic, Comedy on State, Dr. Grins, The Seattle Comedy Underground, and he is a regular at the SF Punch Line, The Sacramento Punch Line, and Cobbs comedy club. He’s been featured in Sketchfest, Limestone, Laugh Your Asheville Off, Crom Omaha, and The Arch City Comedy Festival, as well as SF Comedy Day and the SF International Competition. He’s the star of popular web series, Neighborhood Watchmen. He’s really into Dim Sum. He has dope sideburns, but it’s not a Wolverine thing, so be cool about it. Geoff Bolt (host)
Geoff Bolt is a comedian, writer and actor. A Bay Area original, Geoff is renowned as an inspired improviser in the world of sketch comedy. Geoff got his start in the comedy world as a founding member of the critically acclaimed National Theatre of the Deranged, and soon after debuted his stand-up comedy to rave reviews at San Francisco’s Other Cafe. He continues to perform regularly to dedicated fans at a wide variety of comedy clubs. He has appeared in many feature films was featured in HBO’s Young Comedian’s Special, Showtime’s Comedy Channel, A&E’s Evening at the Improv, and KQED’s Comedy Tonight. Geoff has appeared in several plays at the SF Fringe Festival and has done hundreds of voice- overs for radio, television, and video games. He appears regularly on NPR’s West Coast Live as half of the comedy team of Karl and Carl, who offer their unconventional “Tips on Travel”.
Michael O’Brien (host)
Michael O’Brien is an original member of the National Theatre of the Deranged, co-creator of “’Tips on Travel’ with Karl & Carl” and a master improviser whose credits include performances at The Moth, Porchlight SF, Marsh Theatre, Holy City Zoo and Throckmorton Theatre. Michael is also a teaching artist: Improv Open Workshop at Fort Mason Center, Voice One SF, Academy of Art University, San Francisco State University (guest instructor) and Stanford University (guest instructor).
