Tuesday Night Live Comedy features fresh talent on the rise, alongside veteran comics from around the world. MEET THE COMEDIANS

Dhaya Lakshminarayanan

Dhaya Lakshminarayanan is the 2016 winner of the Liz Carpenter Political Humor Award (previously awarded to Samantha Bee, Wanda Sykes and satirist/humorist Mark Russell) presented by the National Women’s Political Caucus. KQED named her one of the twenty “Women to Watch” a series celebrating women artists, creatives and makers in the San Francisco Bay Area who are pushing boundaries in 2016. Dhaya is also a TV host and storyteller. She hosted the premier year of the Emmy award-winning series High School Quiz Show on PBS’s WGBH. She is a frequent comedic storyteller on NPR’s Snap Judgment and has appeared live in Austin on The Risk podcast. She is currently the host of San Francisco’s monthly Moth StorySLAM after winning a Moth StorySLAM and competing in the GrandSLAM at the Castro Theater (capacity 1400). ON24 awarded her the grand prize for “Best Travel Disaster Story.”


Jeff Kreisler

Jeff Kreisler is just a typical Princeton educated lawyer turned award-winning comedian, author, speaker, pundit, host and advocate for behavioral science. He uses humor to understand, explain and change the world. Jeff won the Bill Hicks Spirit Award for Thought Provoking Comedy, is a regular on-TV face, Executive Producer of The Final Edition Radio Hour, writer for Comedy Central, Huffington Post, and IFC, cast member of Shoot The Messenger (from the co-creator of “The Daily Show”), and star of the Glasgow, Edinburgh, Calgary, Asheville, New York, Chicago Fringe and San Francisco Sketch Festivals. His specialty is political absurdism and he’s performed comedy of all stripes on over 2000 college, club, and theater stages around the world.


Mateen Stewart

Mateen Stewart is one to watch in the Los Angeles comedy circuit! He has appeared in several screen roles working with the likes of Ben Stiller, Ken Marino and Ron Hubel. He has played the token Black Guy in a National McDonald’s commercial and has appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live! and Last Week Tonight. Mateen is a founding member of the Wellspoken Comedy Tour and has participated in SF Sketchfest, SLC Comedy Carivale, Women in Comedy Festival and the San Diego Comedy Festival.


Ian Harris

Ian Harris has appeared on the Top 100 Comedians list of the Entertainment Business Journal and he was a semi-finalist in Comedy Central’s Laugh Riots Competition. Backstage West called him Top Character Comedian in Town, and he was a finalist in the San Francisco Comedy Competition. Harris has toured with comedians Jason Relser and Maurice Northup, doing a secular comedy show The Evolution of Comedy Tour. Ian is also a regular contributing writer for US Weekly magazine’s Fashion Police.


Papp Johnson

Oakland native Papp Johnson offers audiences thoughtful stupidity that will make you feel bad for laughing at his observations that are politically incorrect but right on the money.  His deep voice and monotone delivery sucks in the crowd and leaves them hanging onto every word.  Winner of San Francisco’s Death at a Funeral comedy contest, Papp Johnson is a sure fire star to keep your eyes on.


Adrian McNair

Adrian McNair is an up and coming stand up comedian based out of San Francisco. In addition to recently making his television debut on Viceland’s Flophouse, he’s also been featured in multiple comedy festivals including The Bridgetown Comedy Festival, San Francisco Sketchfest, The Out of Bounds Comedy Festival, and The Crom Comedy Festival. You can catch him at any of the local shows he produces and hosts including “The Mission Position” and “Verdi Wild Things Are” in San Francisco, “Laugh Function” in Berkeley, and “Comedy Night at The Uptown” in Oakland.


Dick Bright (host)

Dick Bright has been entertaining audiences from the Venetian Room to AT&T park. For seven years Dick was the musical director for the prestigious Venetian Room in the San Francisco Fairmont Hotel working with the likes of Ella Fitzgerald, Tony Bennett, B.B. king, and James Brown. As musical director of the first twelve BAMMIES (bay area music awards), he also worked with some of rocks biggest names. Dick also has an established acting career. He has landed roles in national commercials and in hit films such as Mrs. Doubtfire and Metro.


Bob Sarlatte (host)

Bob Sarlatte is one of the busiest all-around performers working out of the San Francisco Bay Area and Los Angeles. He is a comedian, emcee, actor and former PA announcer for the San Francisco 49ers. Bob has appeared in or “voiced” over 5,000 radio and television commercials and cartoons and also guested in series work on NBC’s Night Court and ABC’s Match Game. He co-hosted the PBS comedy series Comedy Tonight, and has had roles in the movies Star Trek IV, So I Married an Ax Murderer, EdTV and Flubber. Also a skillful singer, Bob fronted “Butch Whacks and the Glass Packs” was a member of the entertainment phenom Butch Whacks and the Glass Packs.
