MEET THE COMEDIANS
Jack Gallagher
After moving to Los Angeles, Jack became a regular at The Improv and added big screen credits to his resume by landing a major role in the feature film Shakes the Clown with Bob “Bobcat” Goldthwait. He has also appeared in Heartbreak Ridge with Clint Eastwood and was featured in the made for television movie Incident at Ruby Ridge. Jack can currently be seen as the co-host of the popular nationally syndicated Public television show MoneyTrack. Gallagher’s work on network television includes his own ABC sitcom Bringing Up Jack as well as a recurring role on the HBO Original Series Curb Your Enthusiasm. A favorite of talk/variety show hosts and audiences, Jack made numerous appearances on The Tonight Show with both Johnny Carson and Jay Leno as well as NBC’s Late Night with Conan O’Brien. In addition to headlining virtually every major comedy club in the country, Gallagher has appeared in concert with Dolly Parton, The Four Tops and Tony Bennett to name a few.
Betsy Salkind
Betsy Salkind is an actress, comedian, writer and former drummer for the PHENOBARBIDOLLS. She was a founding member of the TERRORIST BRIDESMAIDS (4 comediennes determined to get a second use out of those dresses), and alumna of the improv troupe GUILTY CHILDREN and the sketch comedy group THE OTHER WHITE MEAT. She was also a staffwriter for “SATURDAY NIGHT SPECIAL” and “ROSEANNE” (the sitcom), and a jokewriter for Anthony Robbins. is a regular at NY’s Comic Strip and LA’s Comedy Store, and has appeared on “Girls Night Out,” “Stand-Up, Stand-Up,” “ARLI$$,” “Pet Shop with Andy Kindler,” the “TONIGHT SHOW WITH JAY LENO,” and most recently in the SHOWTIME special “Fierce Funny Women.” She has written and performed 3 one woman shows to date, including “ALL MY LIFE” (the darkest comedy this side of hope), “MASTER OF SCIENCE” (an irreverent look at science and scientists), and most recently “ANNE FRANK SUPERSTAR: THE ETHEL SPILIOTES STORY” (a satire of Anne Franxploitation).
Ritch Shydner
Ritch Shydner has made numerous appearances on TV, including Late Night with David Letterman and The Tonight Show with both Johnny Carson and Jay Leno. He did an HBO half-hour special, “One Night Stand.” He played Al Bundy’s co-worker on “Married with Children”, and made guest appearances on many other TV shows, such as “Designing Women” and “Roseanne.” Ritch wrote for sitcoms such as “Roseanne”, “The Jeff Foxworthy Show,” and HBO’s “The Mind of the Married Man.” Ritch wrote material for Jeff Foxworthy’s Grammy nominated comedy albums, “Totally Committed,” and “Big Fun.” He also wrote for Ron White and Jay Leno. In 2010 Ritch produced and performed in an award winning documentary on the world of stand-up comedy, “I Am Comic”.
Johan Miranda

Pippi Lovestocking
Pippi Lovestocking, drag queen comic extraordinaire, has insulted audiences from down under to over there with international performances in England, Ireland and Japan. Pippi’s television appearances include HBO’s Looking and Jerry Springer.
Larry “Bubbles” Brown (host)
Larry “Bubbles” Brown is a San Francisco based comedian and a favorite of the Throckmorton. Larry tried stand up comedy in 1981 at the Holy City Zoo in SF and has stayed with it ever since. He has appeared on over 25 tv shows, including numerous appearances on David Letterman. Bob Johnston
Bob Johnston has been performing stand-up comedy around California and the Pacific Northwest for the last 20 years. Johnston started Contra Costa Comedy, a live event producer whose mission is to have quality, independent comedy shows which support local charities, and promote comedians. His vision is to let laughter and giving flow where it is needed. Johnston has spearheaded the Comedy Under the Stars benefit show in Martinez.
