Shazia Mirza
Shazia Mirza is an award winning British stand up comedian and writer. Shazia’s recent TV appearances include The Jonathan Ross Show (ITV), Graham Norton (BBC), Loose Women (ITV), The Late Late Show (RTE), Top Gear (BBC), and is a regular panelist on The Wright Stuff (Channel 5), The Frank Skinner Show (Absolute Radio) Shazia will appear on ‘Celebrity Island with Bear Grylls’ starting August 29th on Channel 4. Her latest stand up show, ‘The Kardashians Made Me Do It’ was critically acclaimed all over the UK, US, Sweden, Ireland, and Paris, and completed four sell out runs at London’s Soho Theatre, and 103 tour dates internationally.
Matt Fulchiron
Known to those in the know as “The Full Charge,” Matt Fulchiron makes love to the mic with an elevated level of rhythm, vocabulary, and insight. Matt has performed on the television shows “Comedy Central Presents,” “Live at Gotham,” “The Late Late Show” on CBS, “Last Comic Standing,” “Tosh.0,” “Last Call with Carson Daly,” and “Comics Unleashed.” He’s also appeared on “The Joe Rogan Experience” podcast, and was the opening act on Daniel Tosh’s recent “Great Nor’Easter Tour.” There’s nothing you can do about it.
Brian Scolaro
Brooklyn born Brian Scolaro is an actor and stand-up comedian. He got his start at the The Comedy Cellar in NYC, and he is most known for his appearances on “CONAN”, his half hour Comedy Central special “COMEDY CENTRAL PRESENTS: BRIAN SCOLARO”, as Doug on TBS’s “SULLIVAN AND SON”, and as Stuart on FOX’s “STACKED”. Brian has made numerous TV appearances including “DEXTER”, “MAD MEN”, “BONES”, “CASTLE” and “GREY’S ANATOMY.” He has gone on to share his original and yet old school style of stand up on “CONAN”, “THE LATE LATE SHOW WITH CRAIG FERGUSON”, “GOTHAM COMEDY LIVE”, “LATE NITE WITH CONAN O’BRIEN”, COMEDY CENTRAL’S “LIVE AT GOTHAM”, “COMICS UNLEASHED ” and finally his very own half hour special “COMEDY CENTRAL PRESENTS: BRIAN SCOLARO” which still airs multiple times a year and is one of their popular downloads on Comedy Central’s iTunes page.
Jill Maragos
Jill Maragos developed her sense of humor and knack for story-telling as a survival tactic for growing up with a crazy family in Buffalo, NY. With degrees in Broadcast Journalism & Mechanical Engineering, she made the natural progression into Stand-Up Comedy. She was a semi-finalist in the 36th Annual Seattle International Comedy Competition, has appeared on Laughs TV (on Fox), Comedy Time for The Ice House in Pasadena (YouTube), and West Coast Comedy (Hulu) & she performs all over the country.
Doug Ferrari
Doug Ferrari is a California comedy icon, performing over 5,000 stand up shows including national headlining appearances at major clubs. Doug won first place in the San Francisco International Comedy Competition in 1984. He has opened for everyone from Bob Hope to Robin Williams and has performed alongside big names including Rodney Dangerfield, Jerry Seinfeld, Paula Poundstone, and Patton Oswalt. Doug has numerous television and film credits including Showtime, MTV, Fox, Comedy Central, A Fine Romance ABC, and Comedy Express A+E.
Lisa Geduldig
Lisa Geduldig is a Bay Area-based (but New York-bred) comedian and comedy producer. She’s the creator, producer, and MC of a variety of comedy shows: the most acclaimed, Kung Pao Kosher Comedy™ (Jewish Comedy on Christmas in a Chinese Restaurant). Lisa strives to present the Bay Area with intelligent and diverse comedy shows. For the past 8 years, she has been running a monthly comedy show at El Rio in San Francisco’s Mission District where she began her comedy career almost 30 years ago. Other past comedy productions include: Funny Girlz: A Smorgasbord of Women Comedians; The Color of Funny: A Multi-Cultural Comedy Show; and A Muslim, A Mormon, and A Jew Walk into A Bar: The Comedy of Religion. Lisa’s first (and only) film, “Esther & Me,” a profile of octogenarian, Esther Weintraub, a former comedian and resident at The Jewish Home San Francisco screened at 12 film festivals in the US, Canada, and Europe.
Mark Pitta (host)
Mark Pitta is a national headliner coming from the fervent San Francisco comedy scene of the 1980s. Mark’s career flourished in LA, first, fulfilling his dream of appearing on The Tonight Show with Johnny Carson then subsequent appearances with Jay Leno. Mark landed a job as host of Totally Hidden Video for the FOX network and then hosting Friday Night Videos for NBC. He has appeared on numerous shows on Comedy Central including Premium Blend, The A-List, Dr. Katz, and Make Me Laugh. A favorite on the comedy club, college, and corporate circuit, Mark has also opened for Chris Issak, Celene Dion, Vanessa Williams, Paul Anka, Kenny Rogers, Olivia Newton John, Smokey Robinson, Big Bad Voodoo Daddy, and Rick Springfield.
