THE LINEUP
Dave Burleigh
Comedian and Impressionist Dave Burleigh tours the world over 36 weeks each year and headlines all the major casinos in Las Vegas. His uncanny ability to impersonate just about anyone landed him the starring role as Charlie Sheen in “Not Another Celebrity Movie.” Burleigh’s multiple characters, voices and impressions were also showcased on Season 7 of America’s Got Talent. As a two time finalist in the San Francisco Comedy Competition, Burleigh now shares the first runner up spot with past participant comedy legends like, Robin Williams, Ellen DeGeneres, Marc Maron, Dane Cook and Kevin Pollak. Burleigh’s laid back and easy going style and persona on stage contrasted with his unique facial and body expressions are guaranteed to leave audiences amazed and impressed.
Cole Parker
Comedian, actor, writer and presenter, Cole Parker exploded onto the comedy circuit in 2000, to great critical acclaim. In the same year, he was in the Hackney Empire New Act competition final alongside Russell Brand. Cole now regularly plays the premier comedy clubs throughout the UK & overseas and has earned an enviable reputation as a highly original, first-rate comic and compere. On TV, Cole presented 15 episodes of ‘The Ultimate Gambler’ for Bravo Television, and he was the face of the 2006 International Cricket on SkySports. A knowledgeable and passionate music fan, Cole has hosted ‘Jersey LIVE!’ for four years since its inception in 2003 – performing alongside the cream of the British and international A-list music industry. He has compered the Reading festival for an unprecedented three years running and also played the Glastonbury, Leeds, Edinburgh, Bugjam and Big Chill festivals.
Kris Tinkle
Comedian Kris Tinkle has been making his mark on the New York City standup scene since he moved here from his native San Francisco. He was the co-host and resident comedian on Comedy By Request on SiriusXM Raw Dog. He has appeared on DirecTV’s “The Artie Lange Show”, is a regular on Sirius XM Radio’s “Friday’s with Breuer” and “Tap Out Radio,” and has been featured in the New York Comedy Festival, The Download Music Festival, and SF Sketch Fest. Kris’ debut comedy CD “Almost Awesome” was released by Rooftop Comedy. The album charted top-10 on iTunes as well as Pandora internet radio and is in regular rotation on Sirius XM. He also performed in and wrote for numerous web series on Crackle.com and SuperDeluxe.com, and his live sports/comedy talk show “Steel Cage Comedy” was covered by Yahoo! and Espn.com and appears in the sports documentary “Such Great Heights” currently streaming on Netflix. Tinkle performs standup in clubs and theaters across the country, and is a veteran of multiple USO tours in Japan, Germany, Kuwait, and Iraq. His unique energy and honest, engaging style of underdog comedy continue to win over audiences nationwide.
Rick D’Elia
Originally from Boston, Rick has been a recurring sketch performer on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno whose keen observational humor, quick wit & and improv skills lead him to the finals in the prestigious San Francisco Comedy Competition. Rick has appeared on other TV shows such as Comedy Central’s Stand-up Stand-up, Comedians Unleashed, Grand Slam Comedy Jam, National Lampoon’s Funny Money and Starz/Encore’s West Coast Comedy. He has headlined clubs and corporate events all across the country as well as entertained the troops in Japan, Korea, Italy, Bahrain, and Germany. On the side, Rick performs in a comedy duo called Hits & Giggles with fellow stand-up Adam Stone.
Carl Spitale
Comedian and actor Carl Spitale is one of today’s fast-rising performers. His mix of personal experience, uncanny impressions, and storytelling make for one of the most unique and talented performers working. An ex pro-football player, Carl decided to pursue a career in making people laugh. He moved to Los Angeles from his native home of South Florida and hit the ground running. After a year of living in LA, Carl became a SAG-AFTRA actor. He’s performed all over Southern California and around the country as well as having roles in feature films and shows on Comedy Central. Carl does a mean impersonation of Morgan Freeman, Stewie Griffin and a few others you won’t want to miss.
Doug Ferrari
Doug Ferrari is a California comedy icon, performing over 5,000 stand up shows including national headlining appearances at major clubs. Doug won first place in the San Francisco International Comedy Competition in 1984. He has opened for everyone from Bob Hope to Robin Williams and has performed alongside big names including Rodney Dangerfield, Jerry Seinfeld, Paula Poundstone, and Patton Oswalt. Doug has numerous television and film credits including Showtime, MTV, Fox, Comedy Central, A Fine Romance ABC, and Comedy Express A+E.
Larry “Bubbles” Brown (host)
Larry “Bubbles” Brown is a San Francisco based comedian and a favorite of the Throckmorton. Larry tried stand up comedy in 1981 at the Holy City Zoo in SF and has stayed with it ever since. He has appeared on over 25 tv shows, including numerous appearances on David Letterman. He was also in the move “The Kiterunner.” Larry is a frequent opening act for Dana Carvey and Dave Attell.
