Bob Zany
Bob Zany has appeared on over a thousand national T.V. shows, from The Tonight Show to a seventeen-year stint appearing on and co-hosting The Jerry Lewis Telethon. Currently, he can be seen on Showtime in Billy Gardell’s “Road Dogs.” His numerous film credits include Joe Dirt with David Spade, Stephen Soderberg’s The Informant playing Matt Damon’s attorney. Currently starring with Eric Roberts in 23 Minutes to Sunrise. He also has a documentary about his 35-plus year career, Close But No Cigar. Having performed in all 50 states & D.C., plus 7 countries from England to Israel, and headlining shows from Las Vegas to Atlantic City, Zany brings years of experience and he brings the FUNNY. No stranger to radio, he has appeared on the Bob & Tom Show with his Zany Report, plus numerous other radio stations across the country.
Alex Elkin
2016 CHAMPION of the prestigious International San Francisco Comedy Competition. Alex Elkin started his comedy career in 1994 after winning a high school talent show. Short stints in the comedy clubs of Southern California to test his worth before he was old enough to be allowed in the front door lead to a desire to perform regularly. At age 18 he took on the wilds of the Jungle Cruise as a skipper for the Disneyland Resort cracking jokes on and off the boat. Years and 10,000 hours later Alex was selected as a finalist in the Laugh Factory’s International Donald Trump Impersonator contest, a past winner of the International San Francisco Comedy Competition and is reigning champion of the Hard Rock Casino’s Annual Comedy Cage Match. Headlining clubs alongside national acts such as Joe Rogan, Judd Apatow and Bill Burr, Elkin is creating a buzz in the comedy world. Alex has been seen on Inside Edition, CNN, E!’s The Simple Life Season 5, TNT’s LEVERAGE, NBC’s GRIMM as well as heard regularly on XM Sirius’ Raw Dog comedy channel.
Hanna Evensen
Hanna Evensen is a first generation Swedish American, born and raised in Foster City, CA. Hanna’s parents were shocked when she got into Harvard and bewildered when she spent all her time doing comedy. To keep them on their toes she is currently juggling law school at UC Berkeley with stand-up. Comedy is going pretty swell – she won the 2018 Rooster T Feathers comedy competition out of 150+ competitors and performs regularly at Cobbs, Punch Line and Tommy T’s. Law school is going okay.
Oliver Graves
Santa Rosa native, Oliver Graves started as an Internet personality, but eventually emerged as a live stage act. He is a “gothic comedian” with a deadpan delivery and Tim Burton-inspired look. His unusual comedic style was featured on Season 13 of America’s Got Talent, with judge Howie Mandel saying “Enjoy your free time right now, because you are going to be a busy man.” Oliver’s standup has also been featured on Funny or Die. In addition to performing with Jake Ward’s North Bay Cabaret variety troupe, Oliver has performed at many venues and conventions around the Bay Area and beyond.
Larry “Bubbles” Brown
Larry “Bubbles” Brown is a San Francisco based comedian and a favorite of the Throckmorton. Larry tried stand up comedy in 1981 at the Holy City Zoo in SF and has stayed with it ever since. He has appeared on over 25 TV shows, including numerous appearances on David Letterman. He was also in the movie “The Kiterunner.” Larry is a frequent opening act for Dana Carvey and Dave Attell.
Brian Thomas
Brian has been performing throughout the Bay Area over the past eight years at a variety of venues, including the San Jose Improv, Rooster T. Feathers and Tommy T’s. He also produces and performs at a monthly show at D’Argenzio winery in Santa Rosa.
Wes Hofman
A Drama kid at heart, Wesley pursued theater at DeAnza College and went on to San Jose State, graduating with BA in Theater Arts. While at college, Wesley got more involved in stand-up comedy. He completed an eight week comedy college course with comedian Kurtis Matthews and The San Francisco Comedy College and hasn’t looked back since. Wesley’s comedian influences include Jim Carrey, Daniel Tosh, Bill Cosby, and Steve Martin. He has performed standup in clubs such as The San Jose Improv, Rooster T. Feathers, Tommy T’s, The Purple Onion and at numerous colleges and universities. From 2006 to 2013, Wesley produced hugely successful comedy shows in Morgan Hill, CA. and Gilroy, CA.
