Stuart Thompson
Stuart Thompson is a 27-year-old Los Angeles based stand-up comedy phenom. Getting his start at age 18 in rooms around San Francisco, he relocated to Los Angeles following graduation from college and has been pursuing stand-up ever since. He has written for National Lampoon and most recently for the 2015 CBS Diversity Showcase. He is a graduate of the UCB improv and sketch programs and is a regular host and performer at The Comedy Store and the Hollywood Improv, where he hosts his own live monthly late night talk show called The Late Night Show. Otherwise, he was featured on Robert Rodriguez’s MATADOR on the El Rey Network; placed 3rd in the 2015 San Francisco International Comedy Competition; and regularly opens for Iliza Shlesinger, Steve Rannazzisi, Steve Treviño, and Bobby Lee.
Flip Schultz
At the wee age of eight, Flip Schultz knew he wanted to be a comedian. At the age of 18 he hit the ‘real’ comedy stage and hasn’t looked back since. Flip’s high energy and very physical show has made him a favorite on the LA comedy scene and a regular performer at the world famous Hollywood Improv. He’s shared the stage with such talented performers as George Carlin, Dana Carvey, Bobby Slayton, The Temptations, and “Weird Al” Yankovic to name a few. Flip was a semi-finalist on Last Comic Standing 4 and was featured on Last Comic Standing 7 as “Skippy Greene.” He won Ed McMahon’s Next Big Star, and has made numerous TV appearances including Comedy Central’s Live At Gotham. As a writer, Flip has written many short plays, a musical, and was an on staff writer for Terry Fator & Friends Show in Las Vegas. Flip has also written a film called “Mr. Right Before” (© 2002) that was one of 250 scripts to make it into the second round of competition in HBO’s Project Greenlight. Richard Chassler
No newcomer to the world of stand-up comedy, Richard brings many years of road touring experience to the stage. Richard’s sets are a “quirky” mix of true-life experiences, a healthy dose of observational humor and a lot of improvisation. His performances have been described as a cross between a rollercoaster and a Grateful Dead concert, you’ll never see the same show twice. Richard has appeared on MTV, VH1 and Comedy Central in addition to various TV and film acting roles. He has worked with Richard Pryor, Rita Rudner, Sam Kinison, Bobcat Goldthwait and Jeff Ross to name a few and spent four years touring with one of his closest friends and cult comedy legend, the late Mitch Hedberg. Kaseem Bentley
Kaseem Bentley’s no-holds-barred style commands your attention even when the check is dropping. Currently he doesn’t have an agent, manager, or a million Twitter followers, but club bookers still take a chance on him. Kaseem has appeared on Viceland, NBC SeeSo, KQED, and Rooftop Comedy, and was named one of SF Weekly’s Comics To Watch.
Phil Griffiths
As far as mid-life crisis go, Phil Griffiths’ wife stacks his career in stand up comedy as better than a drug addiction but worse than him having a mistress. With his dry deadpan humor, Phil performs all over the Bay Area and shares his slightly off observations on fatherhood. Phil has opened for Jermaine Fowler, Brad Williams, Steve Trevino and Myq Kaplan. Most recently Phil performed in the 2017 San Francisco Sketchfest and was a top ten finalist in the 2016 San Francisco Comedy Competition. He has also performed in the San Diego, Sacramento, Chico and Santa Cruz Comedy Festivals. Phil continues to produce and host, Comedy Sharks, a successful comedy showcase in the Bay Area running for the past four years.
Johnny Cardinale
Johnny Cardinale is a stand-up comedian, actor, voice actor and singer/songwriter. He also writes and produces short videos on YouTube and Instagram. He has performed in all fifty states and forty-nine countries. You can hear his comedy on Sirius/XM’s “Laughs USA” channel.
Michael Meehan
Michael Meehan found his niche in the San Francisco comedy scene in the 80’s. He performs comedy both as a solo act and with his two brothers in the comedy trio, The Meehan Brothers. He has appeared on numerous television shows including The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson, Last Comic Standing (NBC), The Dennis Miller Show (CBS) and Stand Up Spotlight (VH1), A&E and Comedy Central. Michael has performed alongside some of the top comedians to date including Robin Williams, Bob Goldthwait and Will Durst.
Johnny Steele
Johnny Steele is a veteran comedian, some-time talk show host, writer, humorist, political satirist, acclaimed actor and all-around loud mouth commentator. He’s the former host of several radio and TV shows including The Live 105 Morning Show, THE SHOW on KRON 4/Bay TV, The War On Error Radio Hour on Green 960. Johnny is a past winner of the San Francisco International Comedy Competition and has performed comedy across the US, Canada, and overseas for 30 years. Johnny has been teaching comedy for 15 years and is currently wrapping up his book, 50 Quick Comedy Tips. He has written for corporate CEOs, Grammy winning musicians, and Academy Award winning actors.
