Clinton Jackson
He has appeared on many stand-up comedy television shows including his own stand up special “Comedy Central Presents- Clinton Jackson” and a guest appearance on “The Late Late Craig Ferguson” on CBS. Clinton has been the opening act for such notable artists as Aretha Franklin, Diana Ross, Donna Summer, Chris Rock, and Steven Wright. ‘Clinton has recorded and released two full length comedy CDs “Nuff Said” AND “Do You See the Ducks Now”, both of which are regularly featured on Sirius Comedy Radio. Following an acclaimed showing at HBO’s prestigious “Aspen Comedy Festival” Clinton was cast in a series regular role on the WB’s “Nick Freno” as affable science teacher “Mezz Crosby”. Guest appearances on family friendly networks The Disney Channel and Nickelodeon showcased Clinton’s trademark guy-next-door appeal. His most recent network television appearances include “Blunt Talk”, “Jane the Virgin”, “Young and Hungry” and “The Daily Show”.
Kevin Camia
Kevin Camia is a stand up comic from San Francisco, who now resides in Los Angeles. Kevin can soon be seen weekly on TBS’ “The Dress Up Gang.” He has appeared on Comedy Central’s “Live at Gotham” and Seeso’s “The Guest List.” Kevin was voted Best Up and Coming Comic at the Rooftop Aspen Comedy Festival; he was selected as a Comic’s Comic on Esquire.com; and his first CD “Kindness” was voted Top 10 Comedy Albums of 2010 on iTunes. Kevin has headlined at many of the nations top comedy clubs and festivals, including 4 sold out shows at Just For Laughs Toronto. As a writer, Kevin has written content for “Dany from LA” on MNETAmerica, MTV’s “Ridiculousness” and the “The Funny Drop” w/ Frankie Quinones, a web-based channel Mas Major produced by Broadway Video and NBC Universal.
Merrill Davis
Merrill’s comedy brings a sense of silly wisdom, sideways perspective, and self-effacing dark charm to the stage. She has been featured in Another Period on Comedy Central, Henry Phillip’s Punching Henry and Hulu’s Coming to the Stage. She is the producer and one of the hosts of Witch Hunt comedy show in LA and NY. She’s been featured in LA Weekly’s “Make Us Laugh Funny Girl” and is a regular at the Hollywood Improv. She has opened for Jamie Lee (MTV’s Girl Code, Conan), Debra DiGiovanni (JFL, Showtime) and Jon Dore (Conan) at The American Comedy Co. in San Diego. She performs all over the country and is really looking forward to making her parents proud someday.
Shane Rogers
Shane Rogers grew up in a traveling circus (seriously). His relaxed, conversational style comes naturally to a performer who has been working the stage since age nine. From epic battles with his hateful cat to the perils of truck stop diners, no topic is too mundane or bizarre to escape commentary in an act that has been described as “smart funny” by people who are versed in both. Shane took second place in the 2013 “Walk the Plank” Bay Area Comedy Competition, and made it to the finals of the Rooster T Feathers Comedy Competition in May 2014. He regularly performs at California’s premiere comedy venues including The Comedy Store (Hollywood), Cobb’s Comedy Club, The Punchline, The Improv (San Jose), The Ice House (Pasadena) and Flappers (Burbank), to name a few.
DNA
DNA’s unique brand of comedy skewers America with a psychedelic double twist. The creator of several comedy festivals and a web series, DNA has opened up for Moshe Kasher, Janeane Garofalo, Myq Kaplan and most of the Bay Area. A BOD member of Comedy Day in Golden Gate Park, DNA has not left his activism behind and uses comedy to bridge the gap between generations, genders, religions and species. A true intergalactic performer. From his time as Timothy Leary’s chauffeur, to his opening act for Ralph Nader (as heard on NPR’s Snap Judgement http://snapjudgment.org/nudists-nader ) to his creation of one of the first crossover rap/country songs, DNA is poised to storm the castle.
Kirk McHenry (Host)
Kirk was born and raised in Oakland, CA and blends all of his experiences together into a story-telling brand of comedy that has been likened to Bill Cosby with a Richard Pryor twist.From entertaining troops overseas to being featured on BET’s ComicView, BET’s One Mic Stand, and Jamie Foxx Laffapalooza, Kirk is well on his way to becoming a household name. Kirk has opened for comedic stars such as Paul Mooney, Bobby Slayton, Gary Owen, Charlie Murphy, Tommy Davidson and Eddie Griffin. We’re thrilled to welcome Kirk back to the Throckmorton with more of his dynamic side-splitting comedy.

Xander Beltran is a SoCal raised and Bay Area groomed comedian whose mixed race perspective and insightful storytelling will take you on a journey through the thrills and thralls of modern life. His expert character creation and hilarious impressions will have you laughing all the way home. Xander tells jokes, acts, writes, raps and sings. He will do whatever it takes to captivate you.
