MONIQUE MARVEZ
Monique has been thoroughly enjoying 2018 as we rapidly approach the New Year and 2019. Her unique use of on-point humor and her take-no-prisoners honesty coupled with an unflagging positivity are keeping her in high demand! This versatile “Snoop Dogg to Disney” writer/performer now has three SHOWTIME specials: The Latin Divas of Comedy, Snoop Dogg Presents the Bad Girls of Comedy, and her own one hour SHOWTIME special, Not Skinny Not Blonde. Her special brand of Aha! and HA! HA! has also lead to a productive collaboration with John Gray on the stage show of Mars/Venus LIVE! . When she is not touring or writing, she is hard at work preparing for “The Monique Marvez Show” on LA’s venerable KFI AM 640 radio which airs live every Saturday night from 8PM to 10PM PST. Monique’s one hour special, Not Skinny Not Blonde is based on her soon to be published book and her critically acclaimed one woman stage show.
G KING
Comedian and Bay Area native, G King made his TV debut on July in Kevin Hart’s Comedy Central stand-up series “Kevin Hart Presents: Hart of the City.” After graduating college, King knew comedy was his calling and decided to pursue a career in standup. It wasn’t long before King became one of the hottest comedians on the Bay Area circuit performing in top comedy clubs around the nation. King has opened for acts including Charlie Murphy, DeRay Davis, Tony Roberts and Damon Wayans Jr.
MARY MACK
Mary Mack is a favorite on radio shows and podcasts around the country including The Bob and Tom Show, Marc Maron’s WTF Podcast, and New York’s 2 Dope Queens. Mary played the leading character, Dylan, on Fox’s cartoon Golan the Insatiable, season one. This year, she plays a lead character in the Hulu cartoon Solar Opposites by the creators of Rick and Morty. She’s appeared in Montreal’s Just For Laughs Festival, HBO’s Andy Kaufman Awards, and recently, made her debut on The Grand Ole Opry in Nashville, TN. Mary’s television credits include Comedy Central’s Live at Gotham, TBS’ Conan, and NBC’s Last Comic Standing and Last Call with Carson Daly. When not touring, Mary spends way too much time and money working on her vintage camper in the woods of Northern Wisconsin.
CARLOS RODRIGUEZ
Being brought up in a large family of characters, Carlos Rodriguez quickly became a fast talking entertainer, which eventually led him to standup comedy. Taking the stage you see the inner child come out with all the passion, excitement and energy of a new performer with the grace and comfort of a seasoned pro. A regular at comedy clubs throughout the states, Carlos has also headlined for the U.S. military troops overseas. He was a featured performer in the SLO Comedy Festival where he was voted Best of the Fest and was a two-time finalist in the San Francisco International Comedy Competition (2014 and 2015). The Sacramento News & Review voted Carlos the Best Comic in Sacramento in 2013, 2014, and 2015. Carlos has been featured on Comedy Central’s The Up Next and Hulu’s Quick Laff.
JASON ANDERSON
Jason Anderson is most well known for not getting his grandmother to stop talking about that one time he was on WeTV’s Bridezillas in 2008. The rest of the world better knows him as a standup comic who is a regular at Tommy T’s, Laughs Unlimited and the Sacramento Comedy Spot. In order to appease his grandmother he made an appearance on HBO’s Silicon Valley. Upon hearing this news, his grandmother was quoted as saying, “What Valley?”Jason has also appeared on TMZ, ABC10, was JackFM’s Comic of the month and is in the 2018 feature film Traffik with Omar Epps and Paula Patton, playing the key role of “Guy on drugs in Nightclub.” His grandmother wishes he would appear on Bridezillas more often.
DIANE AMOS
Diane Amos is a San Francisco-based actress, improv artist, and comedian who is known as The Pine Sol Lady for having starred in their national commercials for over 20 years. She has appeared in numerous films including Nine Months, Copycat, Angels in the Outfield, EDTV, Twisted, and Woody Allen’s Blue Jasmine. Diane was a semi-finalist in Star Search, has been on A& E’s Evening at The Improv, Lifetime’s Girls’ Night Out, and Comedy Central’s Women Aloud. She has also been a winner on the game shows: Wheel of Fortune, $25,000 Pyramid, and Super Password. She was raised in SF by two lesbian mothers and attended Washington High School in the Richmond District, where took an improvisational comedy class…and the rest is history.
AL CLETHEN
You may recognize Al Clethen from his numerous appearances on Showtime, A&E, Comedy Central and MTV, including his starring role in the HBO’s Robert Townsend special, Partners in Crime. He regularly works with great talent like Robin Williams, Will Smith, Tina Turner, Chaka Kahn, Gloria Estefan, Dana Carvey, Drew Carey and many more. From comedy clubs to concert halls to sold out stadiums, Al Clethen delivers the goods.
