Tuesday Night Live Comedy! is recognized as one of Bay Area’s best stand-up comedy showcases. Each week renowned international comedians and today’s hottest up-and-coming comedy stars hit the stage for a hilarious night of live stand-up. Come get your weekly dose of laughter therapy!

THE COMEDIANS

Orlando Leyba

Orlando Leyba is an American stand up comedian who connects with all audiences through his unique life experience, and perspective.  Orlando has a knack for finding humor in just about anything that crosses his path. With his animated demeanor, Orlando entertains the audiences through his dynamic storytelling and undeniable likeability allowing them to come along for the fun ride of his life experiences. He has been working hard… making his mark on the comedy scene. Most recently making his Debut on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, EntreNos on HBO, TruTV LaffMobb’s LaffTracks and his very own comedy special, Adorable, airing on HBO  and was a finalist in NBC’s ‘Stand Up Showcase. He also played Wabo in the animated Kids film Luis and The Aliens. Orlando has become a regular at comedy festivals, and clubs throughout the U.S and Canada.

Pippi Lovestocking

Pippi Lovestockingdrag queen comic extraordinaire, has insulted audiences from down under to over there with international performances in England, Ireland and Japan. Pippi’s television appearances include HBO’s Looking and Jerry Springer.

 

Donald Lacy Jr.

Donald Lacy is one of the funniest comedians in the country. He was the first runner-up in the “1993 Bay Area Black Comedy Competition”. He tours regularly across the U. S. and around the world as a headliner, from Chicago, to Kaiserslautern in Germany. He has been seen on BET’s “Comic View and on HBO’s “Def Comedy Jam”. He has 2 comedy CD’s “Uncensored”, & “Free Speech Costs Plenty” Mr. Lacy spent his Thanksgiving holiday in 2001 entertaining the troops abroad in a Far East tour that included; Japan, Okinawa, Korea, Singapore, & Diego Garcia. He returned on the same tour in 2004.

Fred Anderson

Comedy Magician and Juggler, there are few performers as versatile as Fred Anderson. He has performed on hundreds of cruise ships, done colleges, Casinos, Trade Shows, conventions, comedy clubs, World’s Fairs, Festivals, state fairs, and the list goes on and on …Fred is definitely a comedian, but able to do stand-up comedy and prop comedy using his juggling, acrobatics and magic skills. A lifetime professional – They don’t get better.

Kristee Ono

A little dark, a little weird, relatively entertaining, she has been in the San Francisco comedy scene for 10 years gently introducing herself into your system a little bit at a time as not to overwhelm you. She is a member of the Komedio Comedy a nerd comedy network, co-produces the monthly Mermaid Show in San Francisco. Most recently she has performed at the Silicon Valley Comic Con, Gen Con 50, and the Cinder Block Comedy Festival in Brooklyn.

Frankie Marcos

Frankie Marcos was born and raised in San Jose, CA. His first time doing stand up was at a dive bar in San Francisco with no microphone, and no other people performing. Since then, he has performed at comedy clubs such as: The Comedy Underground in Seattle WA, the Comic Strip NYC, the San Jose Improv, Rooster T Feathers, the San Francisco Punchline, the Tempe Improv AZ, and more. Frankie has worked with Michael Che, Nicole Byer, Tony Baker, Chris Kattan, Bobby Lee, Dulcé Sloan, Guy Torry, Tony Roberts, and more. In 2017, Frankie placed 2nd out of 100 Bay Area comedians in the annual New Talent Comedy Competition at Rooster T Feather.

Dave Nihill  (Host)

Leaving Dublin, Ireland, where he was born and raised until the age of 22, David got drunk on travel and never quite hit the sobriety of it. A bestselling author, David has been featured in Inc, NPR, Huffington Post, Forbes, Lifehacker and the Irish Times, and was recently part of the Irish Kings of Comedy Tour, SF Sketchfest, the Ventura Comedy Festival, Ukiah Comedy Alley, and the Kansas City Irish Festival. David has performed standup comedy at leading clubs including Cobbs, the Comedy Store, the Improv, the Punchline, and the Upright Citizens Brigade, even though he strongly denies being a comedian and is well aware most people don’t understand his accent. As a storyteller, he’s won multiple NPR’s Moth Storyslam competitions and he finished runner up in Moth Grandslam.
