Tuesday Night Live Comedy! is recognized as one of Bay Area’s best stand-up comedy showcases. Each week renowned comedians from all around the world as well as today’s hottest up-and-coming comedy stars hit the stage for a hilarious night of live stand-up. Come get your laugh on!

THE COMEDIANS

Will Durst

The New York Times has called Will Durst, “quite possibly the best political comedian working in the country today.” He writes a nationally syndicated humor column and is a frequent contributor on CNN, MSNBC & Fox News. He’s performed for 3 presidents, a Mayor’s Convention and a Governors Conference. In 2016, “Elect to Laugh” ran for 41 weeks in San Francisco and currently his new one- man show “Durst Case Scenario,” in touring theaters across the country and world. He is also one of the titular characters in the documentary “3 Still Standing” which can be seen on Amazon Prime. His 800+ television appearances include: HBO, The Today Show, Letterman, Inside Politics, GMA, Jon Stewart Show, Showtime, Comedy Central, CBS Morning News and many more. Durst has told jokes in 16 countries, is author of 4 books, 5 CDs and has been fired by the San Francisco Examiner twice, PBS three times and he once ran for Mayor of San Francisco, spending $1200, pulling 2% of the vote, meaning on a dollar per vote basis, he is mayor of San Francisco. His heroes remain the same as when he was 12… Thomas Jefferson and Bugs Bunny. And despite blistering reproach he continues to thwart convention by squeezing ketchup onto his bratwurst.

Myles Weber

Myles Weber took first place in the 40th Annual San Francisco International Comedy Competition, joining comedians such as Robin Williams, Dana Varvey, Ellen DeGeneres, Louis CK, Dane Cook, and Marc Maron. Weber was the second youngest to win the competition and one of only two comics to ever sweep the whole thing.   Weber has appeared on MTV’s “Greatest Party Story Ever” and Portico TV as the host. He also wrote for Portico and Smosh Pit Weekly (on Smosh’s YouTube Channel). Weber’s high-energy crowd work has kept audiences in stitches all across the U.S. and Canada. Blending together high-octane improv, crowd interaction and story telling, seeing Myles Weber means you will never see the same show twice.

Stuart Thompson

Stuart Thompson is a Los Angeles based stand-up comedy phenom. Getting his start at age 18 in rooms around San Francisco, he relocated to Los Angeles following graduation from college and has been pursuing stand-up ever since. He has written for National Lampoon and most recently for the 2015 CBS Diversity Showcase. He is a graduate of the UCB improv and sketch programs and is a regular host and performer at The Comedy Store and the Hollywood Improv, where he hosts his own live monthly late night talk show called The Late Night Show. Otherwise, he was featured on Robert Rodriguez’s MATADOR on the El Rey Network; placed 3rd in the 2015 San Francisco International Comedy Competition; and regularly opens for Iliza Shlesinger, Steve Rannazzisi, Steve Treviño, and Bobby Lee.

Kabir Singh 

Kabir “Kabeezy” Singh is Fresh off his “Comedy Central” Debut on the hit comedy show “Gabriel Iglesias’s Stand-Up Revolution,” A high-energy, crowd-pleasing comic with an in-your-face attitude and razor-sharp wit, Kabeezy’s won numerous comedy competitions, including taking first place two years in a row at the Bay Area Stand Up Comedy Competition, but most importantly won the 2014 39th Annual “SF International Comedy Competition”by coming in first place in all 5 shows in the Final Round which was the first time that happened in It’s rich 39 year history.

Johnny Taylor Jr.  (Host)

Sacramento’s Johnny Taylor uses sharp wit, and off-beat sensibilities to communicate his sometimes tragic life experiences in a hilarious way. A dynamic performer, Johnny has established a reputation for displaying a wide range of comedic styles. He has opened for some of the biggest names in stand-up comedy, including Robin Williams, Bobcat Goldthwait, Brian Posehn, Wayne Federman, and more. Johnny is a regular at every major comedy club in Northern California, including the San Francisco Punch Line, Sacramento Punch Line and Cobbs Comedy Club, 142 Throckmorton Theater, and was recently featured on Comedytime.TV

Keith Lowell Jensen  (Host)

Keith Lowell Jensen has become known for his subtle, smart approach, and his meandering story telling. Jensen’s comedy special Atheist Christmas is currently playing on Hulu. He can also be seen on the current season of The History Channel’s “How The States Got Their Shapes”, in The Coexist Comedy Tour on The Starz Network, and as a panhandling expert on Spike TV’s Manswers. He is a frequent and popular podcast guest, recently appearing on Doug Benson’s “Doug Loves Movies”, Keith and The Girl, and Myq Kaplan’s “Hang Out With Me” and he has the unique privilege of being a frequent guest lecturer on the topic of stand up comedy at the University of California in Davis. His label is Stand Up! Keith Lowell Jensen has four comedy specials out, To The Moon, Cats Made of Rabbits, Elf Orgy, and Atheist Christmas which ran for a year on Hulu. He tapes his 5th special, Bad Comedy For Bad People in 2016.

Del Van Dyke

Raised in Marin County, California, Del Van Dyke began performing comedy in 1984 after finishing college. Sharpening his skills in the booming 80’s San Francisco comedy scene, he “Worked every club that had a microphone”. In addition to working the club circuit, Del took first place in the Northern California, Inland Empire, and Alameda County Comedy Competitions. He was also a semi-finalist in the prestigious San Francisco Comedy Competition. Del currently resides in Sacramento, CA. His time is split between club appearances, corporate shows, charity events, and his popular comedy workshops.
