THE COMEDIANS

Steve Mazan

about_pageIn his decade-plus career, Steve has done stand-up everywhere from clubs and colleges across the country to corporate events, cruises, and many television shows including The Late Show with David Letterman. He even won an Emmy for his work writing on The Ellen Degeneres Show. His clean and clever comedy landed him on Letterman, The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson, The Bob & Tom Radio Show, Sirius/XM Radio and more. He’s even done audience warm-up for shows such as Deal or No Deal. But of all the performances Steve has done, he is most proud of his eight trips to Iraq and Afghanistan to perform for our troops. He’s also the subject of the award-winning film “Dying to do Letterman.” Steve’s comedy has been called “brilliant” and “side-splitting.” His material offers layers that leave an audience howling and thinking at the same time. He is Smart and Silly. Intelligent and ridiculous. But always clever. And clean.

Mike Paramore

Mike’s smooth delivery and powerful punch lines make him a force in stand-up comedy. Mike has opened for comedy greats such as Damon Wayans, Cash Cab’s Ben Baily, Jon Lovitz and Saturday Night Live’s Jay Pharoah. Mike was a finalist in the 2014 World Series of Comedy in Las Vegas. He has also won numerous comedy festivals including the 2015 Cleveland Comedy Festival, New York’s Laughing Devil Festival (2016), and Laugh Fest’s best in the Midwest Competition (2017). Mike has been featured on AXTV’s Live at Gotham in NYC and was a featured comedian on FOX’s hit show “Laughs”.

Carlos Rodriguez

Being brought up in a large family of characters, Carlos Rodriguez quickly became a fast talking entertainer, which eventually led him to standup comedy. Taking the stage you see the inner child come out with all the passion, excitement and energy of a new performer with the grace and comfort of a seasoned pro. A regular at comedy clubs throughout the states, Carlos has also headlined for the U.S. military troops overseas. He was a featured performer in the SLO Comedy Festival where he was voted Best of the Fest and was a two-time finalist in the San Francisco International Comedy Competition (2014 and 2015). The Sacramento News & Review voted Carlos the Best Comic in Sacramento in 2013, 2014, and 2015. Carlos has been featured on Comedy Central’s The Up Next and Hulu’s Quick Laff.

Murray Valeriano

Murray Valeriano is a brilliant comedian, writer, and human sponge. This Tennessee native and preacher’s son found his comedy calling in sunny California and soon began a successful writing career.  Murray has toured the country performing in clubs and theaters, either headlining or opening for some of comedy’s heavy hitters, Kevin Pollack, Christopher Titus, Brad Garret and the late, Robert Schimmel. Murray has been seen on Comedy Central, NBC and FUELTV. You can hear him every Monday co-hosting “Off the Cuff” with Bill Engvall and Gary Brightwell on Sirius/XM channel 97. As an award winning writer, Murray has written for the Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, Bill Engvall’s Here’s Your Sign Awards and Ridiculousness to name a few. He has also written for other comedians such as Conan O’Brian, Steve Carell and Dennis Miller.Murray Valeriano is a captivating person who possesses a remarkable wealth of pop culture knowledge and experience and it shines through on his popular “Roadstories” podcast. Once you stick a bunch of hilarious comics in room to talk comedy war stories it is simply magical. USA TODAY called the Road Stories podcast “One of the funniest podcasts of 2013.”

Amy Estes

Amy Estes started doing comedy around the kitchen table with her very funny family, but didn’t take to the stage doing comedy until 2017. Based in Northern California, Amy has performed at clubs like Sacramento’s Laugh’s Unlimited, the Punch Line San Francisco and Sacramento, and the World Famous Comedy Store, as well as many clubs and events all over Northern California. Amy was accepted to and performed in the 2018 Women In Comedy Festival in Boston, MA and the Portland Queer Comedy Festival. She has opened for incredible comedians such as Julie Goldman, April Richardson, and Gina Yashere. Amy’s comedy includes topics such as her job in education, being a queer woman, and what has been described as her “uniquely hateful” worldview. She currently produces the all-queer showcase “Rainbows and Shit” at the STAB! Comedy Theater in Sacramento, CA.

Mickey Joseph

A Mickey Joseph performance is filled with a multitude of characters. His impressions are flavored with nostalgia. He goes from Woody Allen to Stevie Wonder, Bruce Dern to Jack Nicholson, Elvis to Ricky Ricardo. He flat out does the best Phil Silvers in the business. Mickey headlines comedy clubs in San Francisco, Los Angeles, Reno and Las Vegas. He’s opened for Willie Nelson, Huey Lewis, Michael Bublé, Ellen DeGeneres, George Lopez, Craig Ferguson, and Drew Carey. This rubber-faced, non-stop, comic genius should not be missed! He brings out the best in his audience with his jackhammer delivery, manic facial expressions and timely physical humor.
