Mark Christopher Lawrence
Mark Christopher Lawrence is well known for his role as “Big Mike” on the NBC hit series Chuck. He was featured prominently in the popular series’ final year with Warner Brothers submitting him for several nominations. Mark has appeared on many hit television shows including Glee, Heroes, Seinfeld, My Name is Earl and Martin. His dramatic theater work earned him 2 separate nominations for the prestigious Craig Noel Award for “Outstanding Male Lead” and for performances in both Top Dog/Underdog and A Raisin in the Sun. As a comedian, Mark regularly headlines shows at some of the best comedy venues around the country. He also hosted a monthly comedy show at House of Blues in San Diego. On and off camera, Mark is a deeply genuine and endearing person. He supports many noteworthy causes and charities including Act Today, Operation Smile, Reading, Writing Its Exciting!, The Riley Foundation and many more.
David Huntsberger
You might recognize David Huntsberger’s voice from the Professor Blastoff podcast with Tig Notaro and Kyle Dunnigan, which premiered at #1 on iTunes and was named to Entertainment Weekly’s “Must List” at #2. David has appeared on Comedy Central’s Premium Blend as well as NBC’s Last Comic Standing. He hosted Syfy’s late night comedy clip show REACTOR and has written for The Benson Interruption on Comedy Central. David has performed all over the map at top comedy clubs and festivals including the Just For Laughs Festival in Montreal, Bentzen Ball Comedy Festival in D.C., Bridgetown Comedy Festival in Portland, The Comedy and Burrito Festival in San Francisco and the Moontower Comedy Festival in Austin. In addition to standup, David draws comics and animations and hosts the monthly LA based comedy/variety show, The Junk Show.
Brent Pella
Brent Pella is a stand-up comedian, impressionist, actor and director based in Los Angeles whose comedy sketches, celebrity impressions and parody music videos have gained more than 50 million views online. Brent is best known for his impressions of Eminem and The Rock which have gained international attention on platforms such as 9Gag, Unilad and LadBible. Brent’s high-energy, character-based comedy is inspired by his experiences of growing up with a single mom, becoming a role model for his younger sister and his many failed relationship efforts – all of which have made Brent in to one of the most exciting young headliners on the circuit today. Brent was recently featured on an episode of MTV’s Greatest Party Stories Ever, headlines colleges and comedy clubs across the country, and continues to develop and produce his own comedy videos for release at YouTube.com/BrentPella. Krista Fatka
Krista Fatka is an Oakland-based comic and writer. With over a decade of performance experience in circus and theater, she’s as comfortable on stage as she is in a room full of clowns. Which is to say, pretty comfy. She produces a regular show at The San Francisco Punch Line called The Charm Offensive. She has performed at festivals in the Bay Area like SF Sketchfest, Outside Lands, and is a semi-finalist in the 2017 San Francisco International Comedy Competition. She won first place in The Sacramento Comedy Competition 2017.
Justin Lockwood
Justin’s revealing stories and clever insights have made him a favorite of audiences around the Bay Area and beyond. His act spans from growing up on a marijuana farm to raising his own son to dating as a single parent. He’s performed at the Ventura Comedy Festival, is a San Francisco Funny Fest champion, and has been featured at Comedy Day in Golden Gate Park. You can see him regularly at clubs and venues including The Throckmorton Theatre, The Set Up, Comedy Oakland, The Punchline, The Improve, Rooster T. Feathers, Rock Wall Winery and others. In addition to standup he has written multiple plays and starred in dozens of theatrical productions.
Nat Towsen
Nat Towsen is a standup comedian, writer, and actor from Manhattan, New York. He hosts the monthly comedy/culture/history showcase Nat Towsen’s Downtown Variety Hour at UCB East Village (the first Monday of every month!) Nat Towsen has been called a “comedic genius” by Time Out New York, a “polymath comedian” by The AV Club, and a “bright young man” by Bill Gates. Nat is a writer for the tech/comedy collaboration, Botnik Studios. He has also written for The Onion, CollegeHumor, and their sister site, Dorkly, and was a columnist for VICE Magazine. Nat writes punch-up for professional comedians, NYC government press releases, and your friend’s best man speech. As a standup comedian, Nat has performed at venues such as UCB, Standup NY, New York Comedy Club, Comix, Rififi, The PIT, The Comedy Studio, The Comedy Connection, ImprovBoston, The Climate Theatre in San Francisco, a steakhouse in Jersey City, a resort on the coast of Turkey, and the auditorium of the elementary school in an Alaskan town of 920 people. At UCB, Nat has trained under Chris Gethard, Bobby Moynihan, Zack Woods, Shannon O’Neil, Curtis Gwynn, Charlie Todd, and Kevin Mullaney. In addition to his own show, he hosts Lloyd Night once a month at UCB East.
Pat Griffin
Michael Meehan (Host)
Michael Meehan found his niche in the San Francisco comedy scene in the 80’s. He performs comedy both as a solo act and with his two brothers in the comedy trio, The Meehan Brothers. He has appeared on numerous television shows including The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson, Last Comic Standing (NBC), The Dennis Miller Show (CBS) and Stand Up Spotlight (VH1), A&E and Comedy Central. Michael has performed alongside some of the top comedians to date including Robin Williams, Bob Goldthwait and Will Durst.
Johnny Steele (Host)
Johnny Steele is a veteran comedian, some-time talk show host, writer, humorist, political satirist, acclaimed actor and all-around loud mouth commentator. He’s the former host of several radio and TV shows including The Live 105 Morning Show, THE SHOW on KRON 4/Bay TV, The War On Error Radio Hour on Green 960. Johnny is a past winner of the San Francisco International Comedy Competition and has performed comedy across the US, Canada, and overseas for 30 years. Johnny has been teaching comedy for 15 years and is currently wrapping up his book, 50 Quick Comedy Tips. He has written for corporate CEOs, Grammy winning musicians, and Academy Award winning actors.
