Tuesday Night Live Comedy is recognized as one of Bay Area’s best stand-up comedy showcases. Each week renowned comedians from all around the world as well as today’s hottest up-and-coming comedy stars hit the stage for a hilarious night of live stand-up. Come get your laugh on!

Cody Woods

Cody Woods starting doing stand up as a kid after a math teacher recommended him to a local comedy club manager, but not before sending him to detention first. A decade later, Cody Woods has been headlining clubs, colleges and international USO tours while spoiling audiences with a hilariously smart and brave brand of comedy. His unique perspective stems from being raised by a single mother in a trailer while attending several schools consisting of mostly black students. As a likable comic’s comic, Cody is a hit with every type of crowd as evidenced by touring the road with a wide variety of comedians such as Todd Glass, Luenell, Dave Attell, the Wayans, Eddie Griffin, Bruce Bruce, Tommy Davidson, Greg Proops and many more. Recently Cody Woods was a finalist in the Shaq All Star national comedy competition, a finalist in Cabo Comedy Festival, was featured in a pilot with comedian Todd Glass and a movie with comedian Tony Roberts. Myles Weber

Myles Weber took first place in the 40th Annual San Francisco International Comedy Competition, joining comedians such as Robin Williams, Dana Varvey, Ellen DeGeneres, Louis CK, Dane Cook, and Marc Maron. Weber was the second youngest to win the competition and one of only two comics to ever sweep the whole thing.   Weber has appeared on MTV’s “Greatest Party Story Ever” and Portico TV as the host. He also wrote for Portico and Smosh Pit Weekly (on Smosh’s YouTube Channel). Weber’s high-energy crowd work has kept audiences in stitches all across the U.S. and Canada. Blending together high-octane improv, crowd interaction and story telling, seeing Myles Weber means you will never see the same show twice.

Brent Pella

Brent Pella is a comedian based out of Los Angeles, CA. His comedy sketches and music videos have gained millions of views around the world and have been featured on Funny or Die, College Humor, BroBible, The Chive, and Worldstar HipHop. Brent grew up in Davis, California, played basketball in college, and currently tours colleges and clubs around the country as a stand-up comedian. He’s performed at multiple NACA showcases and in 2016 was featured on MTV’s Greatest Party Stories Ever. A graduate of both UCB and The Groundlings improv programs, Brent recently performed as a member of the iO Sunday Sketch Show in LA, and continues to write/produce his own weekly comedy videos for release every Tuesday on his YouTube channel

James Myers

Originally from Ohio, JAMES MYERS began his comedy career in 2012 at the flagship Funny Bone Comedy Club in Columbus where he was a three-time finalist in the club’s Funniest Comic contest.  As one of the most upvoted comedians on Reddit, his StandUpShots have garnered over 30 million views on the website alone and millions more as they have been shared by respected comedy websites like College Humor, The Chive, and eBaum’s World as well as popular Facebook pages like The Tasteless Gentleman, George Takai, and Cheezburger.

G King

Comedian and Bay Area native, G King made his TV debut on July in Kevin Hart’s Comedy Central stand-up series “Kevin Hart Presents: Hart of the City.” After graduating college, King knew comedy was his calling and decided to pursue a career in standup. It wasn’t long before King became one of the hottest comedians on the Bay Area circuit performing in top comedy clubs around the nation. King has opened for acts including Charlie Murphy, DeRay Davis, Tony Roberts and Damon Wayans Jr.

Arthur Gaus

Arthur Gaus offers a perspective that is both youthful and cynical. His style is funny, sharp and unique. Arthur has played numerous venues including The Purple Onion, The Punch Line, Cobbs Comedy Club and The San Jose Improv. He has opened for such greats as Brian Regan, David Spade, Kevin Nealon, Ed Helms, Will Durst and John Oliver. As an actor Arthur starred in the pilot “San Francisco Values”, a sitcom that follows the exploits of a video game designer and his best friend as they move to SF. Arthur was also a featured comic in the San Francisco Sketchfest and San Francisco Comedy Day.

 

Michael Meehan

Michael Meehan found his niche in the San Francisco comedy scene in the 80’s. He performs comedy both as a solo act and with his two brothers in the comedy trio, The Meehan Brothers. He has appeared on numerous television shows including The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson, Last Comic Standing (NBC), The Dennis Miller Show (CBS) and Stand Up Spotlight (VH1), A&E and Comedy Central. Michael has performed alongside some of the top comedians to date including Robin Williams, Bob Goldthwait and Will Durst.

Johnny Steele

Johnny Steele is a veteran comedian, some-time talk show host, writer, humorist, political satirist, acclaimed actor and all-around loud mouth commentator. He’s the former host of several radio and TV shows including The Live 105 Morning Show, THE SHOW on KRON 4/Bay TV, The War On Error Radio Hour on Green 960. Johnny is a past winner of the San Francisco International Comedy Competition and has performed comedy across the US, Canada, and overseas for 30 years. Johnny has been teaching comedy for 15 years and is currently wrapping up his book, 50 Quick Comedy Tips. He has written for corporate CEOs, Grammy winning musicians, and Academy Award winning actors.
