THE COMEDIANS

GREG WARREN

Greg Warren, most recently seen on Late Night with Seth Meyers, The Late Show and Comedy Central Presents, has built a strong fan base with an act inspired by his Midwestern upbringing. His CDs, Running Out of Time and One Star Wonder hit #3 and #6 respectively in iTunes Top Comedy Albums. An honest mix of self-deprecation, frustration and an arsenal of lifelike characters highlight Greg’s colorful perspective.
Greg attracts a diverse audience spectrum, having performed as a finalist on BET’s Coming to the Stage and on Country Music Television. He is a favorite on the nationally syndicated Bob & Tom Radio Show, which led to touring theaters nationwide with The Bob & Tom All Stars Comedy Tour.
Greg hails from St. Louis, MO, where his father was a high school wrestling coach and his mother made him play clarinet in the band. He has captivated audiences with anecdotes about the conflict inherent in meshing the two disparate high school identities of varsity wrestler and band geek. Greg’s “Flute Man” bit is a perfect encapsulation of the insecurities of high school and the ongoing quest to be cool, and is one of the most requested bits in the history of the Bob & Tom Show.

DAVE BURLEIGH

Comedian and Impressionist Dave Burleigh tours the world over 36 weeks each year and headlines all the major casinos in Las Vegas. His uncanny ability to impersonate just about anyone landed him the starring role as Charlie Sheen in “Not Another Celebrity Movie.” Burleigh’s multiple characters, voices and impressions were also showcased on Season 7 of America’s Got Talent. As a two time finalist in the San Francisco Comedy Competition, Burleigh now shares the first runner up spot with past participant comedy legends like, Robin Williams, Ellen DeGeneres, Marc Maron, Dane Cook and Kevin Pollak. Burleigh’s laid back and easy going style and persona on stage contrasted with his unique facial and body expressions are guaranteed to leave audiences amazed and impressed.

BOB ZANY

Bob Zany has appeared on over a thousand national T.V. shows, from The Tonight Show to a seventeen-year stint appearing on and co-hosting The Jerry Lewis Telethon. Currently, he can be seen on Showtime in Billy Gardell’s “Road Dogs.” His numerous film credits include Joe Dirt with David Spade, Stephen Soderberg’s The Informant playing Matt Damon’s attorney. Currently starring with Eric Roberts in 23 Minutes to Sunrise. He also has a documentary about his 35-plus year career, Close But No Cigar. Having performed in all 50 states & D.C., plus 7 countries from England to Israel, and headlining shows from Las Vegas to Atlantic City, Zany brings years of experience and he brings the FUNNY. No stranger to radio, he has appeared on the Bob & Tom Show with his Zany Report, plus numerous other radio stations across the country.

RICK RIGHT AKA BRIAN SEFF

“The Rock & Roll Comic”, Rick Right  is a unique comic and musical talent who stands in a class by himself. With the uncanny ability to sing and play any song that has been a major hit over the past 50 years, even if he has never played it before, Rick has observations and sly-as-you-like sardonic witticisms to undermine every artist that deserves it. No artist who has ever charted, good or bad, is safe from Rick’s barbs. He has entertained in 37 of the 50 US states, as well as 21 countries. Rick was the second half of the Rick & Ruby musical/comedy act, which teamed up with keyboarded Joshua “Raul” Brody and gained national exposure touring as an opening act for Robin Williams. Rick has had numerous TV appearances on the national talk show circuit, as well as guest spots on “Mork & Mindy,” “The Pee Wee Herman Show,” and HBO’s Young Comedians Special.

JOSHUA RAOUL BRODY

Joshua came to improv from the pop music field, although he was always attracted to bands with a comic/theatrical flavor — the Mothers of Invention, the Bonzo Dog Doo-Dah Band. Moving from New York in 1974, following a brief stay at Boston’s Berklee College of Music, Joshua discovered the Bay Area to be a hotbed of comical musedy acts. He quickly found work as musical director for the Pointless Sisters and the Rick & Ruby Show (who later found a smidgen of fame on the Pee-Wee Herman HBO special).

With Rick & Ruby, he went on tour with Robin Williams, both opening the show and accompanying Williams on a couple of songs. This led to an appearance on Mork & Mindy and other TV exposure, a period Joshua refers to as “when we were almost famous.” Through Williams, Joshua met and began accompanying LA improv groups such as War Babies and the Comedy Store Players, but it wasn’t until he met Lohmann and Faultline that he began to pursue the craft of improv accompaniment regularly.Joshua is currently BATS Musical Director, accompanying many if not most of their Main Stage shows. He also is a teacher of song improvisation, often with Barbara Scott, and the two of them are members of the a cappella improv choir Tonal Chaos. He is principal accompanist for True Fiction Magazine (of which he was a founding member), Awkward Dinner Party, and other Bay Area improv groups.

BECKY LYNN

Becky Lynn got her start in stand-up 3 years ago in Chico, CA, and in that time has featured for well-known touring comics such as Will Durst and Keith Lowell Jensen. She has performed multiple times at both the Santa Cruz and Chico Comedy Festivals, including a featured spot at the Sierra Nevada Big Room. She recently migrated to Sacramento to expand her presence throughout Northern California.  Becky’s dry humor comes from an incredibly personal place as her rather “untraditional”  upbringing has lent her a very unique perspective on the world.

CHELSEA BEARCE

Chelsea Bearce is a sketch comedy writer and performer, a parody writer and performer, an improv actor and a stand up comic. You can find out more about her at www.chelseabearce.com
