Eddie Ifft
Eddie Ifft has been called one of the most underrated comics in America by The Onion and has proudly told jokes around the world to sold-out crowds in over 15 countries. Eddie is the host of one of the most successful podcasts in the comedy world called “Talkin’ Sh*t”. He has been seen as a guest star on “Legit” on the FX network. He filmed a brand new DVD that released last year. It is the follow up to his critically acclaimed DVD “Live From Australia.” That DVD was filmed in front of a sold out audience at the Sydney Opera House in Sydney, Australia. He has also released his own 30-minute special for Comedy Central and made numerous TV appearances on shows such as Gotham Comedy Live, Showtime’s the Green Room with Paul Provenza, Showtime’s Tommy Chong 420 Show, E!’s Chelsea Lately, NBC’s Last Comic Standing, Comedy Central’s Premium Blend, BET’s Comic View, NBC’s Late Friday Night, VH1’s Never Mind the Buzzcocks, Comic’s Unleashed.
Maureen Langan
Maureen Langan is an award-winning standup comic and radio talk show host. Her quick wit and honest rants on life’s absurdities make her a hit at clubs, theaters, and festivals across the U.S, Canada, Europe and South Africa. Maureen is a MAC Award-winner who has performed on Broadway with Rosie O’Donnell and has opened for Steven Wright, Dennis Miller, Joy Behar, Jordan Sparks and Gladys Knight. She has appeared on Gotham Live, HBO, Red Eye, Comics Unleashed, the Paramount Pictures film “Marci X,” and in national commercials. Her solo show, Daughter of a Garbageman, has been called “brilliant” and a “one-woman tour de force.” It was chosen Top Three Solo Shows Bay Area and has been performed to rave reviews in New York, Florida, Nantucket, San Francisco, Berkeley and Edinburgh, Scotland. Ngaio Bealum
Stand up comedian, writer, musician, actor, Ngaio Bealum co-hosted “Cannabis Planet”, published “West Coast Cannabis Magazine”, and performs live all over the USA. Born in San Francisco to hippie parents, he never tires of telling how he got his name. A frequent guest on “Getting Doug with High” hosted by fellow comic Dug Benson, Ngaio has many TV and film credits including these few, Laughs (2014), Sarah Silverman Program (2007-2008), Hey Monster Hand off my City (2014) many more. Check out his CD “Weed and Sex”.His great storytelling ability, combined with hit razor sharp wit and engaging stage presence never fail to leave any audience howling with laughter.
Wendy Lewis
Just five years into her stand up career, Wendy Lewis may be a late-blooming comedian but her talent is undeniable. Wendy can entertain audiences like the best of them. The Sacramento News & Review says she “should be a household name around town and maybe soon will be.” Since 2016, Wendy has co-produced Sacramento’s monthly comedy series, Comedy Burger, alongside fellow comic and SN&R columnist Ngaio Bealum. Wendy also co-hosts the podcast Fat Chicks On Top and hosts a weekly open-mic every Friday at Vince’s Ristorante in West Sacramento. She used to be the featured comic for the Darling Clementines burlesque troupe
Kiry Shabazz
Winner of the 2016 Sac Stand-Up Competition, Kiry Shabazz is a stand-up from Cleveland, now based in LA. Kiry started comedy in Nothern California and quickly became a regular at the Punchline, Rooster T Feathers, and Cobb’s. He’s won first place at the Rooster T Feathers Comedy Competition, has been a World Series of Comedy Satellite Competition winner, and was selected for the Laughing Skull Festival. Kiry was recently named the winner of the 2017 StandUp NBC Competition. When he’s not performing at clubs and colleges across the country, he can seen performing all over the city.
Michael O’Brien (Host)
Michael O’Brien is an original member of the National Theatre of the Deranged, co-creator of “Tips on Travel” with Karl & Carl” and a master improviser whose credits include performances at The Moth, Porchlight SF, Marsh Theatre, Holy City Zoo and Throckmorton Theatre. Michael is also a teaching artist: Improv Open Workshop at Fort Mason Center, Voice One SF, Academy of Art University, San Francisco State University (guest instructor) and Stanford University (guest instructor).
Geoff Bolt (Host)
Geoff Bolt is a comedian, writer and actor. A Bay Area original, Geoff is renowned as an inspired improviser in the world of sketch comedy. Geoff got his start in the comedy world as a founding member of the critically acclaimed National Theatre of the Deranged, and soon after debuted his stand-up comedy to rave reviews at San Francisco’s Other Cafe. He continues to perform regularly to dedicated fans at a wide variety of comedy clubs. He has appeared in many feature films was featured in HBO’s Young Comedian’s Special, Showtime’s Comedy Channel, A&E’s Evening at the Improv, and KQED’s Comedy Tonight. Geoff has appeared in several plays at the SF Fringe Festival and has done hundreds of voice- overs for radio, television, and video games. He appears regularly on NPR’s West Coast Live as half of the comedy team of Karl and Carl, who offer their unconventional “Tips on Travel”.
