Myq Kaplan


Myq Kaplan is a comedian named Myq Kaplan (pronounced “Mike”). He is a 2010 Last Comic Standing Finalist and has appeared on the Tonight Show with Conan O’Brien, the Late Show with David Letterman, Comedy Central Presents, and all the other places he’s been. You can listen to Myq’s podcast, Hang Out With Me, on the Keith and The Girl network. His debut CD, Vegan Mind Meld, was one of iTunes’ top ten best-selling comedy albums in 2010, followed by Meat Robot in 2013 and his one-hour Netflix special Small Dork and Handsome in 2014.

Jay Mandyam


Jay Mandyam was pushed into doing stand-up comedy by one of his college professors at the age of 19. Ever since then, he has not stopped. Jay has performed at clubs and colleges all over the nation, and worked with national headliners including Whitney Cummmings, Chris Hardwick, Pauly Shore, & his comedic idols Christopher Titus and Paul Reiser. He has participated in festivals such as The Laugh Your Asheville Off festival and The Laughing Skull festival. Jay’s comedy focuses on himself, his life, and his relationships with people, and growing up a minority in the south. Jay recently completed his first feature film, “The Ali­wood Shuffle” and was featured on the third season of the hit HBO TV show “Silicon Valley”. He also made a couple of appearances Comedy Central’s “@midnight with Chris Hardwick” and was a guest on Howard Stern’s “The Wrap Up Show”. In addition, Jay was a writer on Russell Brand’s TV show and The CBS Diversity Showcase. Currently Jay is working on his one-man show “Serendipsh*tty” with Christopher Titus and founder of The Comedy Cellar, Billy Grundfest.

Marc Yaffee


Marc is an award-winning comedian featured on the Showtime special, Goin’ Native: The American Indian Comedy Slam. Marc has also been seen on the PBS special, Crossing The Line, SiTV’s, The Latino Laugh Festival and Comics Unleashed With Byron Allen. Marc has been heard on Sirius XM Radio, Bob & Tom and NPR. Marc is a founding member of the Pow Wow Comedy Jam, who were honored as North American Indigenous Image Awards’ Comedians of the Year and the National Indian Gaming Association’s Entertainers of the Year. Marc has performed five times overseas for the troops in the Middle East, Europe and Asia. He won the Ventura Comedy Festival’s Funniest Person Contest in 2012 and is a guest columnist for Indian Country Today Media Network. From clubs & colleges to casinos & corporate events, Marc leaves a trail of laughs that is funny not filthy.

Dave Nihill


Leaving Dublin, Ireland, where he was born and raised until the age of 22, David got drunk on travel and never quite hit the sobriety of it. A bestselling author, David has been featured in Inc, NPR, Huffington Post, Forbes, Lifehacker and the Irish Times, and was recently part of the Irish Kings of Comedy Tour, SF Sketchfest, the Ventura Comedy Festival, Ukiah Comedy Alley, and the Kansas City Irish Festival. As a standup comic, Dave has performed at comedy at leading clubs including Cobbs, the Comedy Store, the Improv, and the Upright Citizens Brigade. Dave is also storyteller who has won multiple Moth Storyslams and was a Grandslam finalist. Dave hosts StoryNights, Throckmorton Theatre’s storytelling series.

Adam Pearlstein


Adam Pearlstein is a stand up comedian based out of Oakland, CA. Adam’s unique brand of contrarian hater comedy has taken divided audiences by storm. Adam has performed in theaters, clubs, colleges, festivals and street corners all over the country and have worked with comedy giants such as, Dana Carvey, David Alan Grier and Ron Funches and is the undefeated champion of the SF Comedy Rap Battle Competition.

Wonder Dave


Wonder Dave is a writer, comedian and performer from Minneapolis, MN, now living in California. He has toured the country performing at poetry venues, schools, cabarets, science fiction conventions, burlesque shows, bowling alleys and independent wrestling shows. Nato Green


San Francisco native Nato Green is the country’s only semi-functional hybrid of comedian, writer, and union organizer. In 2018, Nato Green released his second comedy album The Whiteness Album on Blonde Medicine Records, appears in the film Sorry to Bother You, and lived in Cuba for six months in 2018. Nato writes a regular column in the San Francisco Examiner, and his humor commentaries have appeared in the LA Review of Books, VICE, Truthdig, Huffington Post, the San Francisco Bay Guardian, The Rumpus, and The Bold Italic. His first comedy album, The Nato Green Party, was released in 2012 by Rooftop Comedy. Nato has been named San Francisco’s Best Comedian by the SF Weekly, Huffington Post, SFist, and CBS. Nato is the creator of Iron Comic, the hit Iron Chef-spoofing comedy game show. His comedy has been featured in Audible Comedy Originals including the Comedy Show Show, the Guest List, McSweeney’s Internet Tendency, and Sounds Like America. He’s appeared on numerous podcasts including RISK!, WTF with Marc Maron, Put Your Hands Together, WBUR’s You’re the Expert, KQED’s Truth Be Told, KALW’s Kamau Right Now, and Fake the Nation.

Geoff Bolt


Geoff Bolt is a comedian, writer and actor. A Bay Area original, Geoff is renowned as an inspired improviser in the world of sketch comedy. Geoff got his start in the comedy world as a founding member of the critically acclaimed National Theatre of the Deranged, and soon after debuted his stand-up comedy to rave reviews at San Francisco’s Other Cafe. He continues to perform regularly to dedicated fans at a wide variety of comedy clubs. He has appeared in many feature films was featured in HBO’s Young Comedian’s Special, Showtime’s Comedy Channel, A&E’s Evening at the Improv, and KQED’s Comedy Tonight. Geoff has appeared in several plays at the SF Fringe Festival and has done hundreds of voice- overs for radio, television, and video games. He appears regularly on NPR’s West Coast Live as half of the comedy team of Karl and Carl, who offer their unconventional “Tips on Travel”.

Michael O’Brien


Michael O’Brien is an original member of the National Theatre of the Deranged, co-creator of “Tips on Travel” with Karl & Carl” and a master improviser whose credits include performances at The Moth, Porchlight SF, Marsh Theatre, Holy City Zoo and Throckmorton Theatre. Michael is also a teaching artist: Improv Open Workshop at Fort Mason Center, Voice One SF, Academy of Art University, San Francisco State University (guest instructor) and Stanford University (guest instructor).
