MUSA is a chamber ensemble dedicated to historically informed performances of Baroque and Classical repertoire, as well as new music for period instruments. MUSA is comprised of six musicians:

From trio sonatas to orchestral works, MUSA has presented programs on numerous concert series across the Bay Area. Their 2018-19 season includes performances at SF Music Day, Stanford Hospital, Third Sunday Concerts at St. Alban’s, Fifth Street Farms, Arts at St. Bede’s, Santa Cruz Chamber Players, Early Music Sundays at California Jazz Conservatory, and Wednesday Noon Concerts at Throckmorton Theatre. MUSA is a fiscal affiliate of InterMusic SF.

For the past 5 years we have offered complimentary classical concerts every Wednesday featuring renowned musicians from around the world. You have helped make this concert series a special place where community and friends can gather for the love of live music and discover something new and beautiful each and every week.
Throckmorton Theatre is determined to offer the inspiration of live music to every community member, regardless of financial ability. Thus we offer these concerts free of charge to the public, however we pay all performers and incur costs to produce these events.
